We played on 11-12-23. This was the first round of a three day golf weekend with my friend Jackie. I had played here once a few years ago. I remember it being a fun layout with less than stellar condi... Continue »

It's been a while since I've played that course, but I like it... it's an alright course... many good holes... great finishing hole... I don't know the current conditions, though... but like everyone above said, check out the course blog & reviews. Have a nice time.

Black 527 yard par 5 - A long par 5 that plays even longer since it always plays into the wind. A large bunker is on the right side of the fairway that can come into play with a strong wind or shorter hitters. OB the the left so aim down the middle and let it fly. There's water that runs down the right side from about the 200 yard marker to the green, which is an island. If the wind is down and you're inside the 250 marker you could try for it but the wind likes to come off the clubhouse roof and blow a little bit harder right on the green. If you lay up, the flattest part of the fairway is to the right by the red marker. Lay up there and hit your pitch shot to the green. Remember of the wind off the roof. I usually club up just to be safe, but if the pin is in the back it's a tough shot.

Black 408 yard par 4 - Again, straight forward par 4 with a large bunker right in your way. It's about 280 to clear it at it's longest point, but with the wind behind you you should be able to carry it. Either take it directly over the bunker or play a fade around it, but know that the landing area beyond it features a bunch of hills that could leave you with an uneven lie into the green; sometimes even a blind shot. The flattest portion of the fairway is just left of the red marker so that is the ideal place to be. It's also flat to the left of the bunker, so if you're more comfortable with a longer iron shot with a flat lie then go for that. Green is fairly simple with a large slope from back to front. Usually plays down wind so club down and stick it close.
