Played this afternoon. POP was going to be 3 H but the last 3 holes had howling winds from a storm come up and time to get off the course. To bad, as the 18th hole requires a tee shot over the Crystal River. I did however get to play # 8, a great par 3 that plays over the river (pic to follow). This course has beautiful views of Mt Sopris from almost everywhere. Several holes play along the river and there are numerous streams and water holes. Not to mention the many bunkers (which were very playable). Jay Morrish did the design and it is beautiful. A great mixture of holes to enjoy. The course is in great shape. Tee boxes clean and level. Fairways had great coverage and provided great lies and roll all round. Greens are large/undulating and put very fast (8-9). Totally enjoyed the round, even with the impending storm. Great customer service at all levels and a terrific 19th hole.
