Gents,

If you are/were a fan of the FootJoy DNA, I've got good news for you. The new DNA #HELIX is coming out in a month or so. I'd like to share its new looks and improvements where I thought it couldn't be improved anymore as the previous DNA's were a favorite gamer golf shoes of mine. But this new HELIX is even lighter in weight, wider for stability, low profile pulsar cleats, with extra thick FTF Fitbed (soft on the balls of our feet), and a new re design which I think is pretty handsome.

I was lucky enough to have them before my trip to Ireland earlier in the month and had it put to test there in the rain, wind, cold conditions, and not to mention in the dunes. No surprises, it performed very well and it has my approval with flying colors- two thumbs up, for sure!

Love the looks on these... It's going to make my summer really fun!

Best,

No'l

Not sure if I dig the glossy looking material on the back part of the shoe. Anywhere I can get a better view? Not a big fan of the plastic look.

DNA 1 & 2 - good shoes for sure. DNA 1 had that glossy material you talked about.

The Helix isn't in any ad as of yet- it will be soon for sure though, but I'll see if I could snap another photo for you.

What's the price on them? Around the same as previous DNA's?

Comment is about appearance only but reminds me of a bowling shoe, not that that is bad.

I understand. Both sports or many now, I should say, have many similar look intermixed (lessthespikesofcourse). Also, I think the shoe styles in golf have evolved and have been explored from formal wear all the way to socks like wear and even high tops or boot like style. There is almost no rule to or style belonging to in golf shoes anymore nowadays. But I know in the modern golf, a lot of tour players or people who golf likes the comfort, lightweight, and sporty looks- at least that's their input- and I like it like many others. I also think FootJoy did a great job with this Helix version in many ways, but most of all the way it performs. If you remember the FootJoy XPS, known by tour players for its stability- this Helix has it in it. But, I'm still a traditionalist and love the formal shoes for formal wear, it's just this new Helix is something else...

You're not alone on that- everyone has different priorities and budgets- for some it's just a matter of time. Others just have the means all the time... I'm not one of those, but I wish.
