Hey GK, for some reason I've never had the opportunity to golf in Las Vegas...but now it's time! I will be there and looking for a place to golf on Friday, 9/29. Can anyone suggest a decent course that: a) Doesn't break the bank, and b) Won't have aerated greens? Maybe someplace with a GK deal or something...I didn't find much on the deals page after a quick look. Any help, especially local knowledge, is very appreciated. Thank you!

You cant go wrong with the courses at Las Vegas Paiute. Some times they have a Golf-O-Palooza deal for 2 course for a lower price. You do want to check about overseeding though because a majority of the course out in Nevada close for a couple weeks.

They have aerated the sun and wolf courses last week so you should be good to go. Unfortunately the Snow course which a lot of people prefer is being fully over seeded opening back up on 9/29 and Cart Path only until 10/14

Well, the date just got changed to 10/13 so Paiute might be a good call. Thanks!

I'd recommend Coyote Springs. GK has it in the Mesquite section, but it's not as far as Mesquite. It's about a 45 minute - 1 hr drive outside of Las Vegas. TeeOff.com often has some great "Deal" times that you can use the 20% off promo codes on. Have fun!

Middle of October is the high season for Vegas golf. Most courses should be well out of re-seeding and off the Cart Path only rules. Since tourist pay a lot more for golf, I would recommend looking for deals and discounts.

I'm part of a group that plays in a three day tournament in Vegas every June, each day on a different course. We've been going for twenty years now, so we've played a ton of courses in the area. In recent years, the one course we keep going back to is Siena Golf Club. Great service that always takes care of us, and the golf course conditions are always nice. I love the varied layout as well that's not too punishing of the errant shot.

Glad to see this thread. We are making a quick run to Vegas this weekend for Steve's birthday. Going to see Al Dimeola in Henderson Saturday night and thinking about golfing either Sat or Sun. Primm is aerating one of their courses but we were really looking for something different. Might try Siena.
