I've played Spyglass Hole 11 twice. I've just missed eagle putts twice. I own this hole.

Is there a golf hole you think you own as far as playing well?

btw - Thanks for the Birdie Chain Alex326 on Thursday. Pretty. Fresh out of the plastic!

Hole 18 at Revere Golf club (concord) two eagles, one birdie, and a par, In 4 trips. Love that speed slot.

#8 at Spanish Bay. It's a tricky par 3 over the marsh with a cross wind onto a narrow green. Multiple Birdies and pars. Considering I've never had a par on hole 7 it's also my bounce back hole. Honorable mention is hole 5 at Spyglass Hill. 3 birdies and a couple of pars but it's a pretty straight forward hole and not nearly as difficult as #8 at Spanish Bay.

For me, there are numerous shorter par 4's that I can drive in the vicinity of the green that are favorites. The same for shorter par 5's that if I put together 2 good shots I can reasonably expect the opportunity for eagle.

Some holes just "fit your eye" because of the shape or trajectory of your normal shot. One hole stands out for me over the years that I have played dozens of times.

#6 @ Buenaventura is a short, dogleg right par 4. Most players would aim well left of the green and set up a shorter iron approach. If you want to go directly at the green, it is probably no more than a 250 yard carry. Problem is that there is a dense group of trees directly in line from the back tees and the green about 75-125 yards out from the tee box. Assuming you clear those with a high drive, the large green is well bunkered.

Have never eagled the hole. However, the amount of times I have been either on or within 10 yards of the green going straight over the trees and then either 2 putted or got it up/down for birdie is very high for a player of my skill level. Very fun hole!

The goal is long and straight! But since I can no longer hit them long, could I at least hit them straighter?

QUOTED  How about the opposite, holes that own you?

Does the Internet have enough bandwidth to capture all these?

Which holes do I own? I'm not falling for this trick question. It's as certain as the ocean is wet that once I write down the hole that I own, it will 100% own me the next time I play it. And that triple bogey is not worth the risk here ... or it's the 2nd hole par 5 at Rams Hill.

Not only the internet in general, but specifically neither my mind nor the GK Scoretracker can tabulate all the holes that I would be better marking a bogey on the scorecard and being able to pass that hole.

The #1 hole that owns me is #18 @ IW Players. Never have come seriously close to a par there and a bogey would frequently be considered quite an achievement.

Holes that own YOU? That’s an easy one:
#4 at Balboa
Holes #1-18 at Torrey South
#18 at Rams Hill
#8 at Aviara
#11 at Sandpiper
#18 at CrossCreek
#9 at Journey

and so on...

I just checked and the only whole that I have played 3 times or more where I am under par for the hole is Hole 9 at Twin Oaks.

Holes that own me are long Par 3's over trouble. Like the Oak Quarry signature hole and Talega #5
