| Monday August 6, 2012 6:18 PM How many total rounds have you played this calender year?....I am betting on Buckeye Nut, RGM2525 or Weber to be the winner here....
I'll start 44 ....my goal is to beat 81 rounds which I played last year. |

| Monday August 6, 2012 6:49 PM 229 as of August 6th. Only missed a handful of days so far, and was able to play enough 36 holes to compensate. Weather has been very cooperative as has the work schedule. On pace to challenge my prior best of 369. I am obsessed trying to reach 10,000 rounds. (I am approaching 9200) I tell everyone that when (if) I reach that goal, I'm going to quit playing, but nobody believes me. I guess only time will tell ??? |

| Monday August 6, 2012 8:38 PM Weber, you are a machine. Whatever it is you do for "work" that enables you to get out and play almost every day (and be able to afford all these rounds) ... where do I sign up? Good luck on your pursuit of 10K. That would be an incredible feat.
I'm positive BuckeyeNut is way up there as well.
I am personally at 63 rounds for the year as of right now, which is crazy to even comprehend. This time last year, I was just barely getting back into golf after several years of minimal play. That is by far a personal best already, but I hope to be over 100 by the end of the year. Though when it comes to how well I play, it's definitely a matter of quantity over quality. The index is very slowly creeping downward, though.
I'll get a big boost in the next couple of weeks. Two rounds tomorrow (a rare weekday out) as I claim a couple of birthday deals. Then, off to Indiana on Saturday for my next multi-state adventure. Looking to play as many as 12 rounds over the course of next week as I drive through IN, MI, IL, OH, KY and TN. Should be fun and exhausting as I look to bring my state total up to 27. |

| Monday August 6, 2012 8:58 PM I really don't keep detailed records but i just checked my Skycaddie and I have 55 rounds recorded so far. I might have 3-4 more.
I have the same question as sixpez for weber, how can you hold down a job and play that many rounds I'm jealous! |

| Monday August 6, 2012 10:56 PM Wow, someone's got to be last and that as might as well be me, 32. And after playing this past weekend it might hold that way for the rest of the year because playing bad golf is just agonizing. |

I play the greatest majority of my rounds at Coto de Caza. I tee off about 20-25 min prior to sunrise, so of course that changes as the seasons change. It takes me about 2:20 to 2:25 to walk the courses (About 5 min longer on the south course than north course) The club isn't officially open yet at times, but lucky for me, they are flexible about early member play. Since I work from home, and it only takes 4 min to drive home, I get to work between 7:45 in the summer to as late as 9:00 during the winter. I also try to play about 75 to 100 away rounds while on vacation, afternoons, and other rounds that allow "first off" play as a single rounds.
As I approach my retirement and my 10K goal, I am not sure how my golf life will be affected?

| Tuesday August 7, 2012 8:23 AM Weber2323, I got you there, a whopping 21 for me! Probably will only 26-28 for me this year. That's like 4 weeks of Buck and Weber playing. |

| Tuesday August 7, 2012 2:18 PM I have 95 posted rounds according to the SCGA. But I played some practice rounds for team play and some for SCGA tournaments that I didn't post plus at least a couple of scrambles, so I would say 105. I usually have around 150+ for the year and I seem to be on schedule.
