Will look at flight tix then."Hey Paisano, I'll send an email to my contact there to find out when he'll get the passes for this year and get back to you. If I remember correctly, he gets it in April. Here's something to keep in mind. Stadium course aerate soon after player's championship so you might want to try to play before that or at least month after aerification. When I played last year, it was about 3 weeks after aerification and the green was still "crap". If you're not taking a 4 some, and don't mind me tagging along, I may try to join you if its over a weekend (Fri to Monday).  |

In North Florida already added are: Jacksonville/St. Augustine TPC Sawgrass (BTW - Big Thanks to Member Sixpez jumping on that to write reviews and post photos) Both Courses Hammock Beach (saw you were found of that one xazntigerz) so added it - place looks awesome. Both Courses World Golf Village (King & Bear + Slammer & Squire) Both Courses Tallahassee/Pensacola Seminole Golf Course (just to get that area launched) In South Florida already added are: Miami/West Palm Beach Doral Golf Resort (got to have the Blue Monster!) All 5 Courses Naples/Fort Myers Hibiscus Golf Club (just to get that area launched) In Central Florida already added are: Orlando/Vero Beach Hunter's Creek Golf Club (just to get that area launched) Tampa/Sarasota TPC Tampa Bay (just to get area launched) ALL golf courses are fully loaded with info (Rates, Scorecard, etc.) and wired up to the Score Tracker. This is how I want to build Florida. AROUND GK'ers - not GK'es around Florida. In a way, I want to build Florida RIGHT. From the beginning. Catering to GK'ers that contribute and quickly forming a community in the region. Of course with a community comes GK Staffers and eventually GK Events. So, it would be GREATLY appreciated is anyone reading this forum could start contributing reviews, rating and/or photos to the courses launched and make recommendations for other courses to add. I play a course called Amelia National regularly (buddy is pro there). Even though its private, its pretty easy to get on. I can typically get people out there for about $75 unaccompanied by me or $50 accompanied, even though actual rates they post are $175 after cart fee. Golf club at North Hampton is couple blocks away from Amelia National and fully public. Local favorite. Amelia Island Long Point is higher end golfer's favorite and it may have turned to completely private from semi-private. Nice holes along the Atlantic Ocean and very much a player's course. My friend loves the Ocean Links at Amelia and even though its only 6100 yds fairly difficult course. Another eye pleasing course. My favorite course to stop by when visiting N. Florida is Ponte Vedra INN and Club. Driving range sucks but both courses (Ocean and Lagoon) are 2 of my regular stops whenever I'm in the area. I check in at 8AM and play golf until sun down usually playing 45 to 54 holes. Some of the slickest greens I've ever played on (I would compare to Spanish Bay Greens in speed and difficulty). This is where I go when I want to play a course that PGA quality conditioned course. |

I'll keep my eyes open for a "Gathering".Dang it seems like everyone is headed there at different times. LV is going during weekday. I can only go during last weekend of Jan or first weekend of Feb. Doesn't look like I'll be able to make it though since I can't find anyone who wants to make the trip with me. |
