So I thought I would start and see if others pass it along.I direct my golf love to........ KVISER!! I golf with this guy more than anyone else so far and dude gots game. He is not the biggest guy out there, but he is mighty LOL. Drives the ball long and straight. But more than that he is just FUN to play with. Doesn't get all pissed off when he makes a bad shot, likes to joke around, and is an all around good guy. He is exactly the kind of golfer we love to have hanging around here on GK. Fear  |

Been on here a few years and got to play with dozens of GK'ers. J-GK for making this place for all of us to meet and get together. TonyBarrett for starting the golf league and having that consistent group at least every month. xAznTigerz for making my bucket list course happen for a great price. Fear for coming up with the match play idea, for startin this thread, and for giving me a ride to the bar after Tornado SilverRock. Warrior & Audacity for walking me thru my 1st GK event at Tijeras Creek. All the GK'ers in the league that make each event fun and a blast to play with, some of my favorite guys ever to play a round with such as Steve SR129, LarryTee, KViser, Chuck, Mike, Jim, and the rest. Always get a great welcome from Chris & Steve B anytime I see them, along with others like RobStretch, kpossibly, lngsho, ringworld, noel, way too many to name. Great people to golf with I have played matches against along with other rounds like mjsdouble, mnehls, wdement, rudedog, and others. People who have helped me out such as Badputt & Teedoff for the ride to Dinuba, to Weber2323 for bringing me a Torrey Pines logo ball from SD and always has a smile. Thingstodo for the free round at Rancho San Marcos and for being a friend in general. Some I don't know well, but respect from their posts such as Longball, Bogey1F1, mdames, bigdog, and many others. Some new GK'ers that I hope to share a round with such as Bsparks & Kona. Sure there are a handful of GK'ers that I may not try to join in a group with, but by far everyone here has had a positive impact on me as a golfer and a friend. There are so many more, but can't remember everyone off the top of my head. Love it here and that's why I go to as many outings as I can and participate here as well. Great family here. |

But I have a special shout out to Paisano for meeting me in Vegas and sharing two rounds of golf with me. It was an incredible day with a round at to different courses. He's a great person to play golf with. |

One other guy who is just awesome on the golf course with a genuine personality, pretty good stick. . . would love to play with him any day. . . I'm forgetting his screen name, but It's Ron from my old neighborhood (Chats). Thanks, Fear! It's never the same each round-- even on the same course. The fun is all about making it better than the last time. So many good people in golf-- just about everywhere I play. The fun is to go out and play with them. Played with him a couple times now and always fun to play with. I have played a few rounds with GKer's outside of events and in events and I always feel the love. We even have the EAST FOURSOME! haha which includes myself, CPennbo, SBogey and WDement. I can't wait and promised KevBig that we will get out for another round too. 1RUDEDOG ALWAYS MAKES ME LAUGH AND GETS ME IN A BETTER MOOD THAN I WAS IN. Weber2323 and 1PLUS1 were in my last pairing and both great guys and extremely nice as well as my match play partner CHAPTOWN. To all the people I have just talked too and haven't played with have been great Shebylo and his wife, 3puttjohn, Kviser, xazntigerx, stickboy, atg and gadgetgirl, dconnolly, audacity and of course JohnnyGK and anyone else I have met. I guess my main point is there are a lot of great people on here and I know I forgot at least a couple names and the site as a whole has made me love the game even more (maybe a little too much) and if I had more time and money I would play with any GKer. |
