Played Saturday April 6 2013 10:00am, pace was about 4:15, pleasant weather. Track dry after week of showers. Most of the tee boxes were in good condition, fairways were green, cut short, one-piece divots, rough was ball deep. Greens were in fine shape considering they were to be punched in a week. Course layout is flat but interesting enough with bunkers, hazards, water carries, barrancas, sanctuaries, private prop planes and many birds but no roosters. Golfguide.org has great deal for $39.00 after 10am on weekends. Course drains well. Bunkers were in great shape. No problem to take carts anywhere on the course. No long walks from carts to greens. Carts are newer, run smooth and brake well. Clubhouse is small but has plenty of logo merchandise and there is a full bar with snacks as well. Grass range is plenty big with short game area and putting greens. There are restrooms at the clubhouse and on the range near the 10th tee and one somewhere on the front nine. No drink cart though. No homes nearby but a couple of farm houses in the near distance. Nice country atmosphere. I highly recommend Rooster for year round golf using Golfguide.org certificates.
