Up for the holidays, played Sat 12/23... COLD! Very nice course. Alot of character to it... water and bunkering... not alot of elevation change... #3 earlier poster referred to... yeah, what a screwy pyramid green, with pin in back.. ball rolls off to either side of mound... made 30 foot birdie putt breaking up a tier!! Greens were in excellent shape, good speed for me. Very nice course.

I love this course!!-Excellent challenge with water, rough, etc. Fairways are open enough to drive the ball but beware of the fairway bunkers and water. Greens are quick and the shots must be accurate or sand, water or mounding will be difficult to get up and down. Greens are difficult to read and have more swing than you think. Excellent practice facilty. Good track, at $40 an excellent track. Watch for e-mail specials on American Golf Website.

Greens are true and fairways are in excellent shape. Excellent service! Arrived an hour + before tee time and twilight. I was allowed to play immediately at twilight rates. Great luck and what a bargin.

Stopped by the course on the way back from Monterey ob 9/25/05. Did not have a tee time, but the helpfull people in the shop worked my partner and me off in no time. The course had been set up for the Spanos Tour a short time earlier, and was Tough! The greens were fast but rolled as true as any we have played. Course is in excellent shape, and our overall experience was very good. It is worth the trip from anywhere in the Sac area.

Came here not really sure what the course was like, just went by the web site. I was very pleased with the condition of the course. Fairways were great, greens were pretty fast and sloped severely at times. One short par 3 on the front nine, not sure which number is almost pyramid shaped with the cup at the top. Almost impossible location, most people I talked to that day three putted. Overall great experience and would definitely return if I go back to the area
