With the Sonoma Amateur Champs 15/16 May, the course is presenting well. Greens are superb, holding, a bit bumpy but good. Fairways dry and running and in fair shape; thinning of grass evident. Most tees are a little rough and none are level, sand in poor shape with some bunkers vacant of sand. Rough is around 1-2 inches, growing to 3 inches in secondary cut, but dry. Layout traditional with average challenge. Only fair shape all around with good customer service, drinks cart attendance and nice marshals.
