Played here once. Course is empty. The front 9 is much easier than back 9. The condition is great and lots of hole requires good strategy based on your capabilities. Shot 86 for first round and I am happy.

I love almost everything about this course. Great pace of play, great layout. My only criticism is with the bunkers. They are horrible, you don't even need a rake half the time because you don't leave any footprints. But every other aspect of this course is top notch.

This course offers a challenge to both average players,as well
as seasoned players. For the average it'll bring out the best in
you. And for the seasoned player it'll provide you a chance to shape shots, to take shots, and to make shots. You will return to get even.See you there.

Excellent course. ONE and ONLY ONE HUGE drawback- NO YARDAGE BOOK. The course itself is fairly well marked, but a yardage book is crucial for a number of decisions off the tee. I could've scored significantly better with a yardage book. This aside- THIS IS TRULY AN AMAZING GOLF COURSE AND EXPERIENCE.
There are no homes or traffic, there is tons of beautiful wildlife, and the pace of play was shockingly good.

Don't get too comfortable. Some tough pin placements. Think and play smart, and you'll be rewarded.

Played San Juan Oaks twice in the past month. Both times we played at 8am. Golf course was well maintained and pace of play was fast. Got to play for 52 Dollars with a cart. Enjoyed the great conditions and scenery. Only negative was that driving range is close in the morning on Tuesdays so no chance to warm up.

They wouldn't hold USam qualifiers, here if this wasn't a challenging track. Great course

Course was somewhat soft due to rainy season, but overall in good shape. Sand in traps was hard, so it was like hitting off of dirt. Still some areas of pig damage, but easily played around it. Greens were in excellent condition.

Played last week and was amazed by all of the wild pig damage to the course. The back nine had extensive damage on 7 holes. This happens every year towards late summer early fall and takes a couple of months for the new sod to set and grow. I'll play again in spring before the pigs tear it up again.

San Juan is a tecnhical course. It needs a few times around the track to know how to judge the distances and greens, it can be tricky! Great layout, nice staff.

One of the most barren courses I've ever played. I guess it's called San Juan Oaks because there must be at least three of them. Very few traps. Not very challenging.

Played a twilight round at 2:10. 2.5 hrs to play 9 holes. With all the recent rains i course needs to dry out. Greens were a little soggy and bumpy, fairways were very good with the exception of hole 12 which took alot of runoff from the adjoining hill. What made the course difficult was the rough. Until they can cut the rough expect to spend some time looking for a ball if its not in the fairway. Still a great value and a awesome course
