The Burner Steel Fairway Wood features SuperFast Club Technology to give an extremely light total weight combined with a ight and long shaft to promote faster swing speed for added power. A large steel clubhead has the highest MOI of any fairway wood in golf (30% higher than the r7 steel) which gives tremendous forgiveness for long, straight results on off center hits. The Steel Pull Face Construction equals a higher COR promoting faster ball speed for increased distance. Shallow clubface design means lower and farther back CG position for easy to launch high and long.

good balance

This is the first 3 wood I have owned that actually seems to go where I want it to. Off the deck it is pretty good,, gets it to where sorta where I was aiming. A good club off the tee on short par 4s . I am a bad guy, cause I cant wait for the review on the NEW Callaway square 3 wood.. I hear it will be awesome... I have and love the FTI,, sooo the 3 wood might be as good.

Sweet 3 wood!
Wednesday January 16, 2008
Like the previous reviewer, I've also played a few different 3 woods. While there are many good ones out there this one has a great look at address and a nice feel. Big sweetspot, feels hard to miss. Easy to fade ball which is my shotshape of choice. Light shaft but not whippy. Handsome club with nice graphics and alignment aid that are not distracting or pointless. Purchased new on ebay for $60 less than retail so that adds to the value rating. Otherwise, would not have purchased. Am now curious to try the driver.

Set's Up Well - Good Feel
Thursday August 16, 2007
I've horsed around with various fairway woods: brands, lofts, shaft materials, etc. Always felt as though a consistent feel and set up would work best. Finally have figured out what works for me- the TM Burners, both driver and 3w. Extremely light shaft, but not whippy at all. Sets up very well to my eye - low profile with enough face width/length to be both forgiving and workable. Only word of caution: if you hit this in the cage, make certain you check the frequency against the one you actually pull off the retail rack - there a big variances. Nice to have it down to a single fairway wood that does not cause me to think about much.
