The Titleist 907D1 is a high moment-of-inertia driver designed to provide long distance with outstanding forgiveness. The triangle shape achieves the maximum geometry limits allowed by the USGA which in turn increases the moment-of-inertia. The multi-material design of the 907 D1 driver in combination with the triangular-shaped geometry and high MOI deliver maximum ball speed over a very large area of the face. The 907 D1 driver is designed for the player that is seeking distance and forgiveness, allowing them to hit longer straighter drives without hitting the sweet spot every time. The 907 D1, high MOI for distance with forgiveness. N/A

Best I've tried in a while
Thursday October 25, 2007
I bought this driver in early July. I demoed at least 15 different drivers and settled on the 10.5* stiff 907 D1. The driver is certainly forgiving for mis-hits. I've had several shots where I knew I didn't hit it well but then look up and see it going straight and long. I hit 64% of my fairways last weekend which was a personal best. I personally get good distance as well, average 250 yds. Longest has been right at 300. The shape is a little odd and has gotten names of "The Vagina" and "The Toaster" from golfmates. However I feel a lot of confidence when standing over the tee. I paid $400. $300 would be a good value.
