The 907 D2 is an enhanced moment-of-inertia driver designed to provide distance with shot workability and control. The advanced traditional geometry increases the overall inertia but allows the player to dictate the shot shape and work the ball with a fade or draw if desired. The multi-material design of the 907 D2 and enhanced moment-of-inertia provide distance and solid feel, while the traditional profile, square set-up, symmetric face and improved crown shape provide for outstanding looks in the playing position for players that want and appreciate looks, feel and performance. The 907 D2, enhanced MOI for distance with workability.

This club is obviously meant for the golfer with a well grooved driver swing; not me. I wanted to try the D1 but they did not have any available to demo. This club is meant for working the ball and even though I would rather hit it straight I did attempt some shot-making. This is where I sensed the potential. It had the best feel off the face out of all the drivers I demoed and has a pleasing look at address. If you love controlling the trajectory of your shots then this is the club for you.
I compared the D2 with the Ping G10 (very nice), Callaway Hyper X and Mizuno MP600. All good. Went with the D2 for shaping. On my first day I shaped two draws and a fade like I could will the ball to move. First time I've had this kind of confidence with a driver. Any of these clubs will increase your confidence and number of fairways hit.
