Great Distance Driver!
Thursday July 30, 2009
I won this driver in the Sandpiper GK outing. I personally like the looks of this driver because it is "different" and "noticeable". When i hit my first ball I must have scared the guy on the mat in front of me because after the tremendous ping/thwack sound he jumped! I must say that the flight is nice and long. Much longer than my SUMO^2 (approx 15-20 according to flag pos.). I got it in 45" 9deg stiff.

El Diablo Driver
Monday July 27, 2009
I won this at the Rancho San Marco GK event. I got it in the firm shaft, 9 degrees loft, with a 46" shaft. My first impression when I saw the club was "this is the ugliest driver I've ever seen". That is still my impression. The two red racing stripes on the top of the black club head and the black, smooth surface club face are an "unusual combination". However, the function of the club is a different story. I really like the way it performs. It is definitely longer than my Taylormade Burner. Even though the Krank driver is 9 degrees and my Taylormade 10.5 degrees, the Krank club gets the ball up in the air just fine. The ball seems to jump off the club face. I was hitting good shots about 15 yards further than my other driver. The sound of the club striking the ball is a little more "pingy" than I like. But I definitely like the distance and ball flight very much. I'm going to use this a few more times to see if this will replace my old driver. Right now, it's looking good..

Krank it up!
Friday July 3, 2009
Won this at the Malibu GK Outing. When I called up for it, they were very friendly and helpful and I received it in less than a week. Now for the use of it. I took it to the range and it takes some getting used to. I was not as accurate with it as compared to my current driver, but when I did hit it right, it did fly past my current Cleveland HiBore. The flight is not as high, but then again I got a 9 degree as compared to my current 10.5 degree. I am not comfortable enough with it to take it for an outing, and currently strictly using it at the range to get my feel for it, but when I get more consistent with the few good shots I make, I will be using this as my primary driver.

Long Driver
Thursday June 18, 2009
This company appears to be run by a bunch of monkeys. I recently decided I was going to attempt to qualify for the Remax World Long Drive Championships. When searching for a driver, I came across Krank and decided to give them a try. They first club they sent me, the head snapped off after 5 swings. No problem, under warranty. I ask them to just send me the shaft I'll have it installed. They send me a complete club, with the wrong shaft and less loft than I'd like. Oh well, I have two clubs. Give that one a go and notice the head starting to seperate from the shaft after one bucket. Bring both clubs to my club builder and he said there was way too much oil in both heads and whoever built them had no clue what they were doing. Bottom line got them fixed and everything was great. Things hit bombs, but the sound is a very loud high pitched ping. It gets kind of annoying. Alo after about 6 months the face cracked on one of the heads. Good idea, but it needs a lot more refinement and quality control.

EL DIABLO DRIVER...AWESOME!!
Friday February 13, 2009
I recently purchased an EL DIABLO driver and a few other clubs from KRANKGOLF. I'd never seen or hit one before and must admit, I was a little sceptical regarding the performance-claims that KRANKGOLF made about the EL DIABLO. But I thought....let me give it a try, how terrible can it be. Believe me, was I surprised! All the claims they make about the EL DIABLO are true. Eight of my friends followed and got EL DIABLO drivers and I subsequently bought a spare driver. I have had many drivers over the years and was using a PING Rapture V2 up to now. The EL DIABLO outperforms the PING with the greatest of ease. My humble opinion....at least 20 yards longer. I ordered my club as 9degree with Fujikura XS TOUR shaft and it fits me like a glove (I am a reasonably long hitter) BUT if you are not a strong hitter...don't go for the TOUR shaft. The EL DIABLO is very forgiving, providing you have the set-up right. Don't order it too stiff or with too little loft, let KRANK do the set-up. The Fujikura DIESEL shafts are fantastic. The DIESEL TOUR shafts and very low loft (6 and 7.5 degree) heads are for stronger (higher swingspeed) players. But again, that is my opinion. As I said eight of my friends use EL DIABLO drivers now and all of them gained yardage (10 to 20yards). I think, very long hitters will get much bigger gains because of the low spin and penetrating ballflight off the EL DIABLO's clubface. I spoke to Vince Rivera at KRANK and the service was excellent. He was very reserved and didn't make wild claims about the EL DIABLO, he just said 'EL DIABLO is the way to go and you will hit it further'. Well that is true. It is by far the finest driver I have ever owned! The look of the club, the feel off the face, the ballflight, everything feels just right. And then the extra yardage, fantastic. My advice....Get one, get the set-up right, you will be pleasantly surprised. Don't murder the ball, just make a good swing and the EL DIABLO will do the work, it is very user-friendly.
