Titleist 909 D2 Driver : The Titleist 909 D2 Driver is a 460cc, high performance titanium driver with a full pear profile that produces mid launch with low to mid spin, balanced for forgiveness and control. The chassis features a modern shape with a Tour-proven profile to create a low and deep CG ( center of gravity ) for reduced spin, higher MOI ( moment of inertia ) and longer, straighter drives. A CNC milled face with thicker, centrally located trapezoidal rings is surrounded by thinner areas to maximize ball speed across the face. The shaped sole provides chassis strength, reduces vibration and tunes the impact acoustics for solid feel and better sound. An extended, full pear profile provides playability through a deep CG for stability while maintaining shot workability and control and an integral titanium hosel design saves weight, provides solid feel and allows for more shaft options.

Picked up a Titleist 909 D2 Driver from Culver City Golf - I must say I had my eyes on this club but thought it was a little pricey - but I broke down a purchased it for a good deal and WOW -
I think I got the best of this deal - The club is STRAIGHT -

My old club I hit very few fairways but could launch it - now with the 909 D2 - im hitting more fairways and able to score much better - Oh yeah and it is LONG -

Great club

Tried this out at a local golf shop, felt great, but until you try it on the course, you never know. Found one on eBay that was d%mn near new, but bought it for 1/2 the price, therefore, the price/value is highest. Rec'd it late Tuesday, played Wed. morn without knowing what to expect since there was no time to hit the range.

Teed it up, took my normal swing, and BANG, it sailed to a place on the fairway I am unfamiliar with, and where my Talormade burner never took me. 20 yards further !!

The only bad drive I hit all day was due to over-swinging. If I took my normal swing, the club took care of the rest. Easy to swing, felt great, and allowed me to hit 2 less clubs into the green, helping set a new PB on the course I played.

If you shop around, you can get a great price on this club, and it's worth every penny !!

Tested this out at the Golf Mart tent sale and I had to have it. The club head is huge but I think this is because my now old driver is a few years old. I absolutely loved the feel of the ball coming off this driver. Even my mi sh$t s seemed to go as far as my old driver. It was a bit pricey but I feel in love and had to get it.
