Titleist 909 D3 Driver : The Titleist 909 D3 Driver is a 440cc, high performance titanium driver with a full pear profile that produces mid launch with low spin, balanced for trajectory and control. The chassis features a modern shape with a Tour-proven profile to create a low and deep CG ( center of gravity ) for reduced spin, higher MOI ( moment of inertia ) and longer, straighter drives. A CNC milled face with thicker, centrally located trapezoidal rings is surrounded by thinner areas to maximize ball speed across the face. The shaped sole provides chassis strength, reduces vibration and tunes the impact acoustics for solid feel and better sound. An extended, full pear profile provides playability through a deep CG for stability while maintaining shot workability and control and an integral titanium hosel design saves weight, provides solid feel and allows for more shaft options.

Not a huge fan of Golf Digest, LIKE Classic looking head ,great sound
Thursday January 7, 2010
What a Great driver if you like the Classic lines with the new tech im in love with thing and the stock shaft is a great treat for a $300.00 driver im all over this thing, they say better players get better use of deeper face clubs but i think anyone that hits the ball in the middle of the Face but hit is low or to high on the face sometimes would love this club its got a great sound and a even better feel it has a really soild feel, i will add it up to the very nice diamana shaft that is in it , ahead of the rest in my view , and i heard Elin use one to beat the crap out of Tiger , and you all know Tiger use the white board diamana in his driver and about 23% of the pros on tour use some kind of Diamana in one of there clubs i have even seen players paint of there diamana to keep there sponsers off there backs its that good of a shaft, Just cause its not a 460 head dont disregard go hit this club and tell me what you think.
