Titleist 906F4 Fairway Wood with Graphite Shaft : With a lower, deeper CG ( center of gravity ) and more loft, the Titleist 906F4 Fairway Wood provides higher launch and ball flight from the tee or turf. The 906F4 is good for players of all swing speeds that need increased launch, spin and downrange trajectory. The pear profile of the 906F4 features a longer, shallower face for confidence and forgiveness and a square set-up that promotes a straight ball flight. A multi-material construction with a separate face insert alllows for maximum ball speed and a hot, lively feel. The 906F4 utilizes an innovative Multi-Relief Sole design that allows for crisp, solid contact from a variety of turf conditions. The Multi-Relief Sole provides greater ground clearance at the trailing edge of the sole to minimize turf resistance. The new Titleist 906F4 — take your game to a higher level. |

Titleist 906 F4 Fairway wood
Wednesday October 22, 2008
i have played a 15 degree as my only fairway metal for over a year now. Exdcellent club when you make good contact, perhaps not as long or as others I've played nor as forgiving on mi sh$t shots. A great club for me to punch into the wind or play a power draw when required, difficult club for me to play left to right for whatever reason. Decent rescue club for shorter rough, but leave it in your bag in 3" inch rough.

Titleist PT 906F4 15.5*
Sunday August 10, 2008
The 906F4 has replaced the Callaway Steelhead 3 wood I've owned for almost 8 yrs. As much as I loved that club I found the Titleist more receptive in shaping shots both off the tee and on the turf. The shallower face is much better at launching the ball up in the air when manuevering through 2-3 inch rough. Besides it being black the pear shaped head is almost an exact match and I adapted to it almost immediately at the address position. I look forward to the next 8 or so years with this new weapon of mine.
