The AP2 are a players iron with some game improvement technology built in. While setting up like far less forgiving clubs, with it's minimal offset, the tungsten portion and cavity help get the ball up. As a result of the tech, these clubs reward good strokes, but don't punish slight mi sh$t s nearly as much as others in this category. The stock ProjectX shafts are a nice feature. These do seem to launch slightly high for me, which helps to hold fast greens, but can make intentionally loweringthe trajectory of your shot harder. These are easy to fade and draw, despite the GI technology. They provide decent feel for a forged iron, though I would say that I have felt better, especially for the money. Still, I would trade a marginal concession in feel for the forgiveness these provide any day. At $1000 these are some of the most expensive irons on the market, although some (not all) of that price can be mitigated by the PX shafts as stock. All in all a very solid set for a good player looking for a little foregivness without sacrificing too much feel or playability.
