Not sure about this thin metal insert on the putter face but it does seem to keep the ball on the face a tad longer during contact with the ball. Do not like the thin red color grip. Prefer the leather grip on the Scotty Cameron American Classic III. The address is good and very minimalist. Make sure you keep the cover on as the head dings easily.
