The Callaway Apex Iron delivers X Hot distance in a forged iron thanks to its multi-material construction. This iron features a forged carbon steel body that provides the feel and responsiveness most Tour players prefer and merges it with an ultra-thin, high-strength carpenter steel face, the same material used in Callaways X Hot fairway woods, to produce faster ball speeds off the face for increased distance while providing the same feel of a forged head. Quality forged iron for variety of handicaps

Very recently took a chance on these after fitting and recommendation from Tommy at Irvine PGA Superstore.....loving these irons....feel is great with no vibration, ball just flies off the face. I wasn't sure I deserved forged irons as a 19hc, but with the true temper XP95 iron shaft, these clubs make me look good. I feel that 2014 might be Callaway's year....some great clubs I. This years lineup.
