* SOFTEST multi-layer Urethane Ball on the market * Large & SOFT Gradational Core with a soft feel and added forgiveness * Mantle layer for high repulsion and workability * SOFT Urethane Cover with Seamless 330 dimple design for pinpoint accuracy If you look on the shelves of your local golf store, you’ll see a great selection of urethane covered premium balls. What you won’t see is a single premium ball designed for golfers with swing speeds lower than 105 mph (the vast majority of us). These balls were optimized for tour like swing speeds. Such balls as the Titleist Pro V1 are the best balls in the world, but without the swing you won’t be getting the ball to do what is was designed to do. That’s why for the most of us these balls are shorter than most of the value balls on the market. There are many balls out there that were designed for the amateur golfer such as the Nike Power Distance Soft, Bridgestone E6, Callaway HX Hot, etc. But, these balls don’t provide both the greenside spin and the three-piece design. Why can’t we have the best of both worlds? Well, now we can-Bridgestone has created a premium tour quality ball for those without a PGA tour quality swing! There’s a lot of hope riding on this ball. Optimized for AMATEUR AVERAGE < 105 MPH Swing Speeds N/A

Bridgestone B330-RX , A tour style ball for non tour players
Friday November 7, 2008
I have been playing this ball for about two months. I have dropped my handicap from a 12 to a 6 just by switching balls. I was playing the Srixon Z-URS(a good ball, similiar to pro-v 1) and switched after reading about the B330-RX. The ball is longer off the tee by about 10-20 yards, putts well and chips well. It is the best ball that I have found so far. I would highly reccomend this ball.

Bridgestone B330-RX Tour Quality Balls for the Rest of Us
Wednesday August 27, 2008
Someone finally made the Pro V1 for the rest of us–a tour quality ball that doesn't require a tour quality swing. While not officially available I was lucky to find that the local Roger Dunn had stocked up for the Labor Day weekend. I was too excited to leave this balls in the box. So, I had to take them out to play a quick 9. All I can say is "where have you been!" Why hasn't any OEM ever made a great feeling, great spinning ball that doesn't require a 100+ MPH swing!?
Distance Compared to my two gold standards, Pro V1 and B330S, this ball is longer for my swing. I gained about 10 yards with this ball. The ball flew in a strong boring trajectory with a great roll out. Feel Feels like a B330S, but a little softer. I could feel the ball compress on the face of my TaylorMade Burner. So this is how a tour ball is supposed to feel. Off the irons they felt great. Off the putter they felt buttery soft like the Pro V1. Spin It doesn't spin as well as the Pro V1 but it was more than adequate by the greens. I think they spin just as well as the older three piece B330S or just about any other premium urethane covered ball. One hop and stops were not a problem with the wedges. Bridgestone has finally made a ball that seems to have been made just for me. Their research has finally paid off with a ball that fits most amateur golfers. Now I can't blame for my inadequacies–this indian has found the perfect arrow. | ||||||||||||
