BEST BALL!!
Monday July 18, 2011
My swing speend average around 107. I was previously playing the E6. I had several worthy skeptics (old dudes who know what they are talking about!) suggest that I switch to the 330's because of my swing speed. They said I would loose that dreaded side spin off my driver that sometimes kept me right off the tee. I was also told that from 150 yards in, I would get the spin I needed to gain more control around the green. I was also told that I may loose some yardage off the tee but will gain a bit of accuracy due to less spin of the tee. I must say they were almost correct. I didn't loose anything of the tee with my driver. I went from average of 286 yards to 298, hitting 303-308 yard occassionally. As far as 150 yards the ball does check up and stop pretty damm good. I'm getting alot more spin on the ball on the greens. I notice my pitch marks on the greens are 3-5 feet from the ball. On my tee shots with my driver the shots are straighter. I have yet to hit a 330's and watch it go right. They stay straight and fly far. They stay in the air like a Ray Guy punt. I have cut off 5-6 strokes since I put the 330's into my bag. I sold the boxes of E6 that I had to a friend of mine that has a slower swing speed and purchased a few more boxes of 330's. The price of the ball is up there with the premium balls, but for me it is worth it to be able to do what I'm now doing on the course with the 330's. Enjoying the game even more.
