Not a Rock
Thursday May 14, 2009
Played this because of the price, love it. No notable distance difference(I am not a long hitter), stops on green I hit it well, good feel off the putter, durable.

Best impulse buy yet...
Tuesday May 5, 2009
I picked up a box at the pro shop (at) Diamond Bar when I checked in because my "24 balls/$13" supply was running low. I was really impressed. As much as I loved my Caveman balls, I think my days of bragging about their value are over. The D2 Straight played great with every club I used and I had my lowest 9 score ever on the back 9. The only thing that was different this round from any other was the ball, so I'm gonna give credit where credit is due. I was expecting these balls to show some serious wear, but they didn't. I'm hooked!

Damm good ball for under $20
Tuesday February 3, 2009
I got a box of the D2 Feel for Christmas and have played them for 2 rounds and am impressed. I've been playing Nike Power/Distance Soft (green pack) that I've had for the past 3yrs with no complaints. I like them because they're affordable. But I think I like the Topflite D2s better. Great distance, nice feel at impact and putting and durable and also affordable. I've used the same 2 balls for the past 2 rounds even landing in a few bunkers and they are still in great shape. I'm not into spending $3 a ball for ProV1s but I did talk a friend into trading a ProV1 for one of my D2's. We played a few holes like that and I had the same distance off the tees and fairways. The feel seemed to be the same except the ProV1s did spin a little better on the greens but nothing to win me over the D2s. My buddy was impressed as well but said he liked the ProV1s better just because it's what all the pros use. Silly rabbit. You won't drive like JB or iron play like Tiger or short game it like Phil just because you use the same equipment. I'll stick to the Topflite D2 Feel balls and get more for half the price of the Titleist. Great ball at a great price.

Great ball
Friday January 16, 2009
i actually really did like the D2 line, cant wait for stores to get the 09 sets because its going to be softer and more distance. Top Flight went from toprocks/rockflight to great flight. Really i did enjoy the Strait pack. Yes it seemed a little short to the others but they were really a great performing ball all arround. Got great spin off thies for the pirce they came for, really suprised me. Checked up real nice on the greens had a decent softish feel to them. Not really any notice to the slickcote unless its warmer than 70 digres. The ball didnt seem so active in the cold. But still a great ball for the price.

Best bang for your buck.
Saturday January 10, 2009
I have used this ball for over a year at the recommendation of a friend and I haven't changed since. This ball feels great off of the face and reacts well to input. After you use this ball for a while you begin to wonder why you spent all that money on Pro-V's. This ball is not only an exceptional deal but a fantastic golf ball.

Great Ball
Friday January 9, 2009
Have used this ball as my primary ball since early 2008. It compares very favorably to the ProV1 (the other ball I use), and I think it is a better ball than the Callaway HX Tour, (same maker) although I have only tried a dozen Callaway.. It has a soft feel, exceptional distance and is very durable. This is a great ball, not only for the price, but overall. Golf Digest ranked it up there with the ProV1 in their 2008 equipment guide. MSR price can be beaten at all Golf Shops that I have been to. Anywhere from $9.99 to $14.99 on special.

Great Ladies Ball Alternative
Tuesday October 14, 2008
I saw these at WalMart for $14 for 15 balls and decided to try them out since I am still in search of the "right ball for me". Ladies balls are sometimes too soft and don't get as much distance, and other balls feel like rocks. It felt soft off the irons and I got 10 to 15 more yards on my driver and fairway wood shots, and all of my shots were much straighter. I could also feel the difference in control with chipping and putting. For now, I think I've found "my ball".

Great for the price
Sunday June 8, 2008
Tried a sleeve of these today and got to say that I liked them. Rebelball9 recently reviewed the Top-Flite Gamer and compared it similarly to this one in feel, flight and spin. I'd have to agree. This D2 Feel plays just like the Gamer. I think that the Gamer "may" have given me a little more distance, and "maybe" I can control it slightly better around the green, but basically they play the same. This D2 gives you distance, doesn't balloon, pierces through the air (maybe that dimple-in-dimple design really works!), spins enough to check up on the green and has a nice soft feel off the irons and putter. The cover will cut and scuff a bit, but not as much as the Gamer. At $15 for 15, this is a great choice!

Excellent Ball For The Price
Friday June 6, 2008
I got a sleeve of these from the TheBigDog and played this ball as my provisional ball every time I knocked my HX TOUR or PRO-V1X OB or possibly lost. I've got to say, I was impressed. While the ball certainly did not spin as well, it did feel almost a soft and went as far if not further off the tee. It handled my thin topped wedge shots very well too from a durability standpoint. When the time comes where I've got to shell out some coin to buy balls (I normally play HX TOURs or PRO-V's I find), I'm going to buy these.

Gone is the Name Rock-Flite
Friday May 16, 2008
First of all 15 balls for $15 is one heck of a deal. Now as to the balls themselves they are unbelievably soft. If you strike them right you can't even feel them. They are so long I had to take one less club for every shot! I'll normally hit my 7i about 155yds, playing with these balls I was pushing 175! That number seemed almost unrealistic to me but it's true! The balls do spin but not nearly as much as other balls. Due to the soft cover they do scuff pretty easily but at $1 a ball that's no big deal. Out of every ball I've ever tried these putt the best. They are smoother than butter. Bottom line is: Gone is the Nickname Rock-Flite. You can use this ball as your go to ball or as a back-up. For the unbeatable price it doesn't matter.

Who's the ROCK now?!?
Monday April 28, 2008
ProV1's are my favorite and have been buying them by the box for many-many years-- probably shortly after it came out in the late 90s. I normally would play a new sleve of 3 and alternate them every six holes and play about 4 rounds of it... If it doesn't get lost before I retire it...
Over the weekend, I was asked by a friend to play these Top-Flite FEEL to see if I could get over with its name. I said, "Bob, do you realize what you're asking me to do?!?" (just kidding) I gladly did... All I could say are all good things about this Top-Flite Ball after that round. It really plays great. Very soft feel off the driver and irons. Spins well when you want it to and best of all, IT REALLY FEELS GOOD PUTTING IT. Usually, when on the putting green, the ball almost reveals a certain quality. but this ball ROCKS! I don't mean a rock. Heavens this is a great golf ball!!! It is unbelieveable how good this ball plays. I must say that I will be picking up more of TOP-FLITE Feel and play more of it. I've waited a while before I posted this rating... This is a good ball to play good golf with.

D2 top flights
Friday April 11, 2008
I will just add to for great priced ball that plays well,
for par 3's, higher hcprs, or that ball you hit over water. the new top flight D2 is way better than the old ones. and I too agree that the new double dimple design has feel off the club that makes them feel allot softer. so they did finally come up with a ball that feels better, and kept the price well below the others...

No more rocks
Wednesday August 8, 2007
I am not a top flight fan, but I could not pass up an opportunity at ten dollars on sale for fifteen balls to try the 'feel' D2. I was surprised at how this ball reacted off the driver, nice feel to it. It also lasts and stays within two feet of where the ball lands on the green. Not like the rocks of old. They putt well also and have a great aiming line on them. Give them a try, you cannot beat the price, lose one, so what, use them for practice at least.
