Swing for swing, this ball plays nearly identical to Pro-V1x with extra stopping power and 'softness'. While not as soft as or spinning quite as much as the original ProV, it is high quality. The XV has a very distinct feel with full swings. Unlike older Wound Balatas that feel like they become squished right through to the center, the XV has an almost hollow ceramic tone. It's a very crisp feeling shot with a soft point of contact. Apparently Srixon is developing their next line, and for this reason, you can buy any of their tour series balls for $30. If you're looking for a tour level ball with great distance, it's definitely worth trying out.
