I played early today and the course is in very good shape. Greens were fairly quick but consistent from hole to hole. Fairways were green with the occasional rough patch. The rough was hit and miss (doesn't really exist). Bunkers had a good layer of sand so getting out was no problem at all. Will definitely be back.

Played Wednesday the 17th. The course is getting into its' summer condition. Hard pan fairways and rough, but the greens and bunkers are AOK.

Course is in decent shape but the greens had just been punched on the back and they were doing the front. This was on 1/30 so the greens were slow and some of them bumpy. Played in about 4 1/2 hours and according to the marshal this is their target time but we waited on every hole for a 4 some that had at least 1-1 1/2 holes open ahead of them. 4 hours on this course is easy to do so I'm not sure why they think 4 1/2 is okay. Slow play is ruining the sport.

This course has become an even better place to play since last year since they now have nice clean sand in the bunkers that make it possible to get up and down. You might even have a better chance out of the bunkers than out of the rough. Today's round was at 3 hours 45 minutes. Got out early so the wind was no factor. What a great way to start the New Year.

Course not charging holiday rates, very refreshing. Course is in very good shape, green and quick greens. It was rather nice to play a hilly course in only 3 1/2 hours playing as a foursome. The 3 foursomes ahead of us moved right along. If only other courses in the area could follow the lead, golf can be done quicker than 4 1/2 hours. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!!

I see under the discussion section of this page a note from Sean Dugan about slow play. Well, yesterday it was the slowest I have ever played and I play here about twice a month. It took a little over 4 1/2 hours compared to just under the normal 4 hours. IMO allowing groups of 5 out in the morning will not speed up play. But now to the course, bunkers are really nice to play out of with the sand they have put in them, almost easier than the rough. Greens were smooth and quite fast, you really needed to watch the down hillers. This is becoming my favorite course next to Goose and the Quarry. Get out here and play. P.S. you have got to stop in the grill and eat, food is delicious.

played early this morning and I guess they are hoping for rain as the course is dry and the rough has died. Rough is just dirt and fairways are going dormant? 6:30 in the morning and no water anywhere on the course. This is one of the few times I have to admit that the bunkers were the better part of the course.

Got out this morning at 7 and the course was damp but green. Never had a bad lie in the fairway and the rough was not real hard to get out of. The bunker I was in had nice sand and I did get up and down. Marshall was a fun guy. We had a good conversation on the first tee and then on #10. Round was just under 4 hours walking and we are headed back next week. Still one of the best courses in the Inland Empire.

Played Thursday 8/23 and was glad I did. New carts with new GPS system with music. Course is in the best shape in a long time. Fairways and super good coverage in fact since we went out at 6:30 they were still damp and no roll and the rough was about 1" high so the ball did not roll into the valleys if you were a little off. It looks like they have replaced all the sand in the bunkers with nice white sand. Heading back next week as $37 is a bargain.

I think there may be some fungus among us. Lots of dead spots on many of the greens, not ball marks as these are at least 6" by 8" and also the greens were very slow. Other than that the course is in very good shape.

Try go get here 3-4 times a month and today was the same as always, GOOD!! The only thing I was perplexed about were the greens. They all were med fast or slow but the one thing that stood out was NO break, everything was basically straight, took all the bite out of them.

Played a couple of weeks ago but no review as they had punched and sanded the greens. I did go back today and the maintenance paid off. Greens were smooth and fast and consistent. Bunkers could use some sand but the dirt was very fluffy around the greens and no problems getting out of. The rough was ,well, rough. The fairways were in normal summer mode. Some good lies and some so so but nothing to really hurt your game. For the price it is a bargain. $28 for seniors riding.
