Course was just aerated last week so greens are still in recovery mode. Greens slower than usual but playable. Fairways in good shape and so are the bunkers.

Fun day at the course with slight breeze and sunny day to provide a great backdrop for a round.

Pace was under 4 hours walking.

Definitely recommended.

The course is in the best shape I have ever seen. They are prepping for a college tournament and greens are firm and super fast ! Tees, fairways are lush and in top condition.

Highly recommended.

Been awhile since playing Eldo. Like the layout of this course.

Course conditions were decent. Greens rolled pretty nicely. Firm conditions on a warm Friday afternoon. Fairways have enough coverage so no complaints here.

Check in was smooth. They only let you check in 10 mins before tee time. Funny how they implementing Covid protocols and yet people were hanging out and congregating without social distancing.

POP - 3 hours for 9 holes. We had good company and had fun playing so it didn't feel like it was slow but after checking the time after 9 holes...

One of my favorite local courses. Great design with different visuals on each hole. A few holes with water that come in play. Both 9 and 18 have water so it makes a fun and adventurous experience coming back into the clubhouse.

Conditions were decent. Tee ground are lush and level. Fairways with good coverage. Greens were medium fast and holds most shots. Noticing a few unrepaired ball marks lately.

They recently transitioned from using pool noodles to the lever-type for retrieving your balls from the cup due to the COVID precautions. Much more enjoyable experience in my opinion.

Overall, great golf and fun times.

This is our go to place to play a quick round with the kids.

There is a driving range with limited distance and netting to prevent wayward balls. Lots of juniors and beginners play this course.

Greens are soft and therefore get a lot of ball marks. Too bad, people dont fix their marks as they have nice green complex here. Great place to practice and tune your short game as distances range from 50y to 100 yards. Bunkers with plenty of sand on several holes.

Overall a nice place to play. Affordable. Fast. And people that work here are pretty nice.

Went out Friday morning as a 2some and not really knowing what to expect after the rain the previous day. Checked in and was told the driving range was flooded and therefore closed. They had a chipping and putting area for practice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Cart guy came out with a cart and loaded our clubs from the parking lot. Assigned South-North combo as they have the 3rd 9 hole course closed.

Behind a 3some so there was waiting for pretty much all day. 4:45 POP. Saw the cart person a few times but no course marshall seen. Carts have no GPS so bring your own.

Course conditions. Did not rate as given the rain the previous day, the course was pretty much wet and under water in a lot of areas. CPO. Course certainly does not drain well.
Greens were decent and rolled well. Saw some course maintenance try to drain some of the bunkers.

Having played some of the courses in the area, was a bit of a let down of the course. Only a few holes caught our eye and the rest were unmemorable.

Hope to try this again in the future but not something I would seek out.

Bought a voucher for Debell a few months back that expires in a few weeks so thought it would be a great place to take my son to play. Course was 5300 from whites so it won't be too long for a junior.
But then I just realized it has been over 2 years since my last play here and now I remember why.

Check in was slow. Only 1 person in the proshop and he was not very friendly. Processed my voucher. And then sent me off. I walked to the cart and realized there is no key so I had to go back to the proshop and was told you have to sign in. Why he didn't say that in the first place, I don't know.

POP was about 5 hours 20 mins. Given that I have read somewhere on their website that tee times after 10:00am will be monitored for a 4:30 pace but never saw a marshall all day. Not sure how they monitor the POP.... Saw the bev cart 3 x during our round though.
Spoke to a few members in the front group and they say it is pretty open during weekdays but horrendous on weekends.

Conditions. Tee box mostly level although some are pretty chewed up. Greens are decent - good roll, some bare and damaged spots but pins were away so did not affect play. Fairways were hit or miss but still lush in most areas. Bunker I was in was well stocked although not the nice sand.

Some of the holes are pretty nice and certainly is a course that will test your skills. I enjoyed playing the course on a regular outing but the POP for a short course is just too much to bear. I wouldn't be back for awhile.

Attended the GK event this weekend. As always, great fun to attend and it was an enjoyable round playing with Matt and Robert.

I love the design and routing of the course and consider this one of the most fun places to play in San Diego.
However, the course was in the worst shape I have ever seen at La Costa. Really wanted to write a good review as this is usually a fun destination for our family summer vacations. But given the conditions the golf course is in right now, I'm quite honestly disappointed and could not recommend this course at this time at their regular price point. Maybe my expectations are too high. But I've seen the course in much better shape. And we have played this quite often the past few years.

Most greens were in good shape but there were a few that had a lot of bare spots, something you should never ever see in a high end course. Lots of GUR with some fairways torn up pretty bad. And to top it off, there were a lot of holes that were CPO which have attributed to the increase in pace of play. I think our GPS showed we were 40 mins over?

On the positive side, the staff were all excellent and very helpful, from the valet/bag drop to the pro shop and the cart guys.

I hope the maintenance of the course gets better. I really do as this is one of our favorite destinations for some R&R.

First time at Goathill. REview is for the pitch and putt area named 'Playgorund' - Wow! what a fun area for the kids. Holes are around 40 yards and greens here are unlike other pitch and putt. The greens are really nice!

Green fees are donation based. What a concept. Staff were friendly and explained how things worked.

Seeing how they treat customers, I'm quite impressed and definitely will be back to play the actually course.

After over a year of being closed, Roosevelt finally reopened a fews weeks ago. Among things that were done. They installed irrigation using recycled water. Added new forward tees. Eliminated a few bunkers.

Other than those mentioned, the course is the same.

Condition-wise, it is good condition. Greens roll fairly well. Occasional bumps here and there . Tee boxes pretty level and good coverage. did'nt go into bunkers but they looked well stocked.

Fun course. Definitely glad this is back in rotation.

The Weiskopf course was the last installment of the 6 pga west courses. Sharing the same driving range with the other 2 courses (Palmer and Nicklaus).

Staff was super nice. Stocked up our carts with enough cold bottles of water to send us on our way. First hole was quite fun with a small creek running along the hole with 2 concrete bridges that remind you of the St Andrews.

Course was pretty open. Conditions were quite good. Greens had just been sanded but rolled true. REcommended pace was 4 hours but given the we had the place all to ourselves, we play way way faster than that.

Some of the hole went thru housing areas and the routing was a bit odd at times.

Overall, had a great time and certainly a unique course in the area. A+ experience and certainly recommended.

This is my son's first time at the Stadium course. Arrived at 5:40am for our 6:09 tee time. As we left our clubs near the bag drop, an attendant greeted us and loaded them to our carts. We walked in through an impressive clubhouse that includes Ernie's (we planned to get some breakfast to go but i guess it was still too early). We promptly got checked in and off we go to warm up.

All grass driving range, chipping area and putting green. World class facility. As we approach the starter, he quickly reminded us that this is one of the toughest courses in the western region. And he wasn't kidding. We both bogeyed the first hole. The course was not in the best shape but decent enough to give us a good experience. Some of the bunkers were a little thin and some greens have bare spots.

Made the turn and snack bar was closed. And no bev cart in sight. I guess getting out early, you need to bring your own food. There were water stations but no cups. Glad we brought our water bottles.

As we approach 16 and 17, the heartbeat starts to beat a little faster in anticipation of the 'wall' or as it is noted as San Andrea's fault and Alcatraz. I survived 16 but my son did not and had a good 16 feet of a bunker shot to get up to the green. As he climbed back up to the green, you can feel the tiredness start to creep in. I reminded him to take it easy and compose himself before heading to the island green. After he calmed down, we hit our shots and his landed 6 feet for his birdie try, while my tee shot landed on the fringe. We survived the hole with ball dry and went to get our pars and victory was ours.

Finished 18 in 3 1/2 hours (several holes waiting for 2some in front).

Fun day indeed at Pete Dye's masterpiece. Certainly will be back for more punishment soon enough.
