The Bebe is not in good shape right now. It's no better than a local muni and far from its prime. Tee boxes were unleveled and heavily damaged, especially on Par3s. Fairways were poor, with dry areas and damages galore. Much worse than my local muni (Santa Anita). Rough areas were also not taken care of and had many bald spots. The greens were good. Average in speeds, rolled true, but had some large damaged areas on a few of the holes. Pin placements were set up far from the bad spots. Only got into a bunker once and it had good sand.

With that said, I thoroughly enjoyed the round. Bebe has a great fun layout. While shorter than the Ike, it challenges you with tight tee boxes and fairways. Some say that the course is suffering because of it's $69 weekend rate special drawing more play. I don't buy that. A ton of other courses are busy and they still are able to maintain a good course condition.

This is as close to immaculate condition as it gets folks. Great track, services, and condition is prime. Go play!

Tee boxes were level and nicely cut. There were divots from previous players of the same day, but that's normal. Fairways were nicely cut, lush, and consistent everywhere. Rough was again nicely mowed, consistent, and just absolutely beautiful. Greens were undamaged, rolled true, and just above average in speed. Bunkers had plenty of sand, which is amazing for an inland course that gets quite windy, and was consistent throughout the course.

Custom service was great from check-in, starter, to the cart girl. We had an early morning tee time and finished in just over 4 hours in a relaxing pace. I believe this was the best condition I've played outside of Pebble.

First time playing my favorite local (<1 hour) track this year. Tee boxes were lush and in good shape. Could have been cut a bit shorter. Fairways were in great shape as usual. Some felt like carpet. Greens showed no sign of aeration from a few weeks ago, but were a little bumpy for Oak Quarry standard. Bunkers could use a LOT more sand, which is their usual problem. But at least they were consistent through the course and playable for the most part. Weather was perfect and only had light wind. Pace of play was great for a Sunday afternoon at just slightly over 4 hours. Customer service was top notch, and the California Club from the restaurant was fantastic! :)

Got on at 3pm for super twilight and finished 18 in just over 3 hours. Customer service from the staff was superb as usual. The tee boxes needed a cut bad! It was 2-3 inches thick off almost every tee. Fairways were decent for the most part with random damage and GIR here and there. Bunkers had good sand and consistent throughout the course, but foot prints galore. The greens were pretty hard, but still on the slow side. I've NEVER seen a course with more unfixed divot marks on the greens. I counted 30+ on the #2 putting surface. No joke. That's the type of players Alhambra gets. Overall, a very enjoyable round.

Played 2/15 with a 9:25 tee time. Course was pretty busy. We were on the tail of the 3some in front of us and the round took 5 hours on the dot. Felt sorry for the 2some behind us.

Course condition is fair. Biggest downside were the greens. They were rolling at medium speed but were very bumpy, which really bothered me. Tee boxes were level and had moderate damage. They weren't pretty, but there was always grass to hit off of at the par3s. Fairways were mostly lush with some brown areas that were thin but not hard pan. Bunkers were consistent throughout the course but the green side traps could use more sand.

Caught an early morning round before work today. Haven't been here for a few months and the first thing I noticed was the newly adding artificial turf for the driving range. You're no longer hitting your ball into a dirt field. Much more appealing to the eyes.

On to the condition of the course. It was meh~, even for Rancho. Most of the tee boxes were thin with lot of damage on the par3 holes (Blue tees). Fairways were just OK. Lots of dry spots and thin areas. Rough is inconsistent. Some areas were thick and if you get anywhere close to a tree, it's thin and you're probably hitting your ball off of dirt. Bunkers were pretty good, but no1 seems to rake here. Greens were receptive, soft, and quite slow. At least they weren't bumpy.

Returned to Moorpark after about a year. Last time I played here, the wind was CRAZY. Golf balls would get blown off the greens after manually placing it for a putt. Today was a different story. Overcast, 60s, and NO wind!

Played Canyon and Ridgeline. Tee boxes were flat and undamaged. Very lush. Fairways were mostly nice with brown spots that were very playable. The spots were not appealing to the eyes, but they were definitely not thin. I played shots from them without issue. There were large areas that were under repair on a few holes, but that didn't affect play either. Bunkers and rough areas were consistent throughout. The greens were great! They were rolling true, without damage, and on the quicker side.

I highly recommend this course. Great layout and they're usually in very good shape. Restaurant, ProShop, and practice facilities are all top notch.

Saw the plethora of recent good reviews at the Babe and decided to go out and play. Since there are so many accurate reviews there, I'm going to skip putting in mine.

After playing Babe in the morning, I replayed Ike. PoP was decent for an afternoon round at just under 4.5 hours, but I was by myself so there was still a ton of waiting. The group in front actually offered to let me through, but I declined since there was at least 4 groups of 4 somes right in front of them.

The course is at its best shape I've ever played! It's finally living up to its reputation and high rack rate. Tee boxes were undamaged and lush, fairways were like carpet without brown spots or major damages. They had portable sprinklers that were watering the handful of thin area at cart entry points. The greens were running quick, true, and consistent. There were divots from groups in front of me, but I didn't see any damage from old divots. The bunkers were consistent through the course, but they're a bit on the thin side.

While Babe is shorter and requires targeted tee shots, Ike is quite long for average folks. It has more elevation changes compared to the Babe and is better looking visually. Love the huge fountain in the middle of the lake as you tee off on #1 and coming back in on 18. Both courses are in top notch shape right now (Ike fairways are a bit better), so if you haven't been there for a while, go!

Sneaked in a round before work today. I haven't played this course for a LONG time and forgot how enjoyable it is even though it isn't very long. The new pro shop looks great and service was top notch.

Tee boxes were just OK with lots of divots. I wish they would go and sand them so they could stay in better shape. Fairways were lush in most areas but had good amount of thin and balding spots that weren't marked as GUR. Greens were in pretty good shape for this course. Rolled pretty good, but on the slow side. It's so soft that my ball was half buried straight into the green on a couple of pitch shots. It didn't roll or bounce, just dug right into the surface. A few of the greens (#1 and #6 come to mind) had lot of leafs and bird poop. Bunker had plenty of sand, but people didn't have the courtesy to rake.

Alhambra is a fun little course. It has much more characteristic (especially the back 9) than something like Whittier Narrows. It's in OK shape right now, but not as good as Santa Anita.

Played MLK Day at 7:30am using the GK coupon for $10 off. There wasn't a soul on the course! Felt like a country club experience. Wind was calm and it was in the high 70s, can't beat it.

Tee boxes were good with the exception of a couple that were sanded. Fairways were in great shape with very few brown spots that didn't impact the shot at all. Bunkers had plenty of sand and were consistent throughout the course (I was in plenty of them between 36 holes). The greens were rolling true with some ball marks on the shorter holes where most people pitched in. FIX YOUR DIVOT PEOPLE! Quite a few holes have crazy undulations. Bring your best short game!

I love this course. It's got one of the best replay (which we did) rates at $20 w/cart. It played much easier than the last time I was here a couple of years ago because they really cut down the rough. I remember lots of areas with grasses up to my knees, but most of them are now cut down. Much more forgiving if you have a miss shot.

The greens and bunkers at Santa Anita are at prime condition right now. Putting surface is rolling true and at medium speed, which is as fast as it'll roll for this course. Tee boxes are in good shape and fairways are mostly lush, with a few brown spots here and there. No major damages. PoP isn't great here. Took us around 5 hours for a mid morning tee time. You'll see 5-somes galore.

The course was in surprisingly good shape for this weather (97 degrees when I teed off). Tee boxes were decent. Fairways were lush! Especially compared to Angeles National I recently played. (Although A.N. is a much better track, obviously) There were dry spots, but they were few and far in between. The bunkers at Santa Anita always have plenty of sand, but a lot of people don't rake here. The greens were very good for this course. Not a lot of damage and putts rolled pretty good. It was faster than usual for Santa Anita, which is still slower than most non-muni courses. This was pretty close to the best shape I've seen Santa Anita at for a while. I'm not sure if playing on a weekday had anything to do with it. P.O.P. was just over 4 hours.
