Played on 01/12/14 for $59.00.Course was in great shape all around.Weather was perfect and the staff was outstanding. The golf course is very scenic and the gps system in the carts is amazing. They even show a fly over of each hole as you drive up to the tee box. This is a must play course.Have fun.

Played on 07/22/13.Been years since I last played here,so thought I would give it a chance. This course is in horrible shape. The tee boxes are not level and the grass is very patchy.Fairways(if you can call them that)are like first stage rough.Greens are very thick and bumpy. The biggest shame is that I called the golf shop before booking my round and they said the course was in very good shape. Will not return here again. Also be advised that they are working on the range and it is closed.

Played on 06/03/13. Course is in great shape right now. The only down fall is the tee boxes are mats on this sporty little par 3 course. The greens are in very good shape and because of the mature trees, you will have to be accurate on many of the tee shots. I loved the way they cut the fairways from tee to green. It made every hole look great to the eye.

The driving range is nice and on Mondays and Wednesday the pure cut grass is open. This is a very good course to practice up on your short game. Have fun.

Played on 03/22/10.It had been about 15yrs since I played Harding. The driving range is what I remember(not good). The starter would not let us check in until 15 mins before tee time, although I tried to check in 30 mins prior. When I did get to check in, the starter charged me wrong and it took him a while to get it right. The funny thing is that the person by the first tee started calling our name like we did something wrong by being late to the first tee because of the check in problem.
The course itself was in pretty good shape. The tee boxes were nice, the fairways good and the greens although a little bumpy, were also in good shape. The one thing I did notice is the ladies really have no advantage off the tee boxes. They are all only 15/20yds in front of the mens. But overall I had a nice day and we joined to very nice people.Enjoy!

Played on 08/13/10.Lets start with the range. For the price they charge to play, golf balls on the range should be free.Just be ready to drive to the range in your own car or you can take the shuttle to the range but they have to come back and pick you up.
The course itself is in nice shape, even with the seeding of the fairways. The greens are very nice but with all courses they should have a marshal explain to people how to fix ball marks. The bunkers could use some work.Overall this could be a great facility with a little help from the management.Enjoy!

Played San Clemente on 07/14/2010.Only paid $20.00 for green fee w/cart included.Second time I have played here and this course is well worth the price. The fairways and greens are in great shape. You get a nice ocean breeze here and from different parts of the course you also get great ocean views.I really enjoy the people that live locally and play here, they are very down to earth and polite.Enjoy!

Played on 06/30/10.First time playing here.Get here a little early as driving range is across the street from course.Staff was very friendly. I was very impressed by the bar/clubhouse area and there is a nice seating area outside to enjoy a drink and feel the sea breeze. The course was not really that tough but you will always have a breeze here which will make things interesting. The tees were nice as well as the fairways. The only problems were the greens. They were very slow and very bumpy, although you can tell they could be really nice if cut and rolled. The carts had GPS,I did enjoy myself here and the golfnow price is well worth it.Enjoy!

Played on 06/20/10. I would have to say I had mixed feelings about Sandpiper.First of all the staff members were fantastic. The golf course was beautiful and If you want the ocean views, these are breath taking. The only thing I would like to see is a little more effort into the fairways and sand traps. I feel for the price they charge, the course should be perfect and they should put GPS into the carts. I have played Pebble and yes Sandpiper is cheaper but I did expect a little more. I would recommend playing here and enjoying the ocean breeze and the pelicans soaring over the waves.Enjoy!

Played on 11/21/09 in the Buick AM Qualifier.I have played this qualifier before but wow!!,the course was in fantastic shape. The greens were fast fast fast, and the pin placements were the hardest I have ever seen.I must say that if you get a chance to play here, take it all in.Besides the beauty of the course, there are so many sights and sounds to enjoy.I always enjoy Torrey and lets face it,you get to walk in the footsteps of the greats and thats always exciting.Enjoy!

Played on 9/26/09 at 8am.Course was in perfect shape.Did I say GREEEN? Tee boxes were perfect and fairways lush. The greens ran fast and true. This course is a must play right now for the money.Played for $150,well worth it considering the group right behind us played for$240.The staff treated us great from the pro shop to snack bar girl. The wind was down and the weather was nice.Enjoy!

Played on 09/22/09 at 9am.If your not from the area, tough course to find. You need to enter a shopping center to find the course.Turn left in the shopping center not right.

If you like to warm up like I do,get there extra early. You must get driven out to the driving range by shuttle in the morning and the range is no where close to the first tee.The starter was terrible. When I asked about the cart key not in the cart,he gave me an attitude and when I asked him about teeing off,he acted like he was the king of all kings and did not want to be bothered.

The course it self was very nice. The fairways were in great shape but the front nine greens were a little stressed, but very playable. The greens on the back were great. This is not a walking course. The drive from the 9th green to 10th tee is loooong! Be ready for your tee shot at 15.Hit just left of the bunker in the distance,it will be the only thing you can see from the tee.Enjoy!

Played on 09/14/09 at 9am.First time there since new clubhouse has been built(very nice). The staff is excellant from the pro shop to the starter. The course is in very good shape. The rough is very high, which is the only defense the course has because it is not the longest track. The greens were in great shape, although they ran a little slow on the day I played but they will be lightning fast for the nationwide event.I had heard the fairways were very thin but I thought they were cut perfect.Had to keep cart on the cart path but for $35,you cant beat it.Get out and enjoy.
