Played Oak Quarry for the first time in a several years. It was very good the last time we played it but it was great today. Customer service was excellent in all areas. Staff were very friendly, professional and sought to meet our needs. The course was in outstanding condition in all areas. Well the sand traps were okay. It was a pleasure to play Oak Quarry.

Played the course a few years ago and for the high price it was in poor condition. Ratings had improved so tried it again Saturday and it is still in sad condition for the price. Sad fact, this could be a great course with some professional and competent management. Staff was late arriving, not friendly, trash everywhere on course, numerous divit marks on greens, etc. Cheap GPS system and many fairways could not drive to ball and with no fairway yardage markers it was hard to guess the distance to the green. Oh well, maybe will try it in a couple of years and see if it improves.

Played Eagle Glen 17 Aug and was a little disappointed. The greens had numerous divits, maybe a notice, politly, to guests to repair their handiwork. The fairways were lacking attention, several wet spots, lots of big ball marks, some brown spots. The sand bunkers were bad. Hard, some small stones almost unplayable. Is there a new grounds keeper? I have played here several times in the past and was always extremely pleased with the playing conditions. But, a little disappointed on Monday. The staff I met were all very professional and friendly, the desk manager, the starter, the beverage cart lady, the bar manager, etc. Koodo's to these personnel.

Played Sierra Lakes on Saturday 11 July, early. Still a long round of golf 4 hours and 40 minutes. No marshall or player assistant. Sand traps were hard and not raked. Greens were very disappointing. Should be excellent and would be except for the numerous ball divits. Needs attention. The beverage cart person was friendly and came by frequently.

Played Dos Logos on 3 June and found the course in great shape. All areas were very good. Still a challenge , next time I may have to go with fairway woods instead of my driver. Now have a double wide trailer for a club house so you can get a sandwich and a drink. Worth playing the course if you ae in the area.

Played Goose Creek on 20 May and it was in great condition. The service in the pro shop, the starter, and marshalls were all outstanding. this is one of the better courses in Souther Calif.

Played Dos Lagos 2 Jan 09 and the course was very good. The greens and sand traps were great. The fairways were dry and very thin probably due to the winter season. Weather was great as many other courses were in severe fog conditions. We played behind a five some and they were very slow. The player assistant talked to them once and they speeded up for several holes then slowed down again. The 18 hole round took 4 hours and 55 minutes way too long. We were told that Dos Logos allows five somes if they keep up with the group in front of them but this was not the case this Saturday. I question why allow five somes in the first place. MAX! should be four players and shoot for four hours or a max of 4 hours twenty minutes. Other wise enjoyed the golf in So. Calif in January. Thanks.

Great golf course. Well worth the green fee and enjoyable to play. The new golf carts are great: electric brakes and slow accelerated start. No, suden jert when you accelerate. Greens were fast and you have to take in to consideration the location of the mountains as they will affect your putt. Course overall in good shape.

Played Alondra on Friday 28 Nov, a holiday, so the course was very busy and slow. This was my first time playing since the front nine was renovated. I like the layout of the new front nine much better than the old layout. Sill needs to mature and the winter rain (if we get any) will help the new course. The greens were great but players need to repair their divits. Maybe a friendly reminder of some kind will help. The new sand traps were more numerous and in good condition. The back nine could use some new and better sand. The fairways on the front and back were very thin with lots of bvare spots. Hope the new irrigation and winter rains will help. Friendly course as there is no rough, so it is easy to find your mi sh$t ball. Still slow play but that is the case on all course that allow five some's. So plan on the slow play and you will enjoy the game better. At least you are outside doing something fun well sometimes fun.

Played Los Verdes on 19 Nov. Slow play as usual (5 hours and 20 minutes) but the course is in very good condition. I know it will be slow play and I plan for it and the game goes very well. Beautiful weather, golf at 75 degrees in Nov. Why go to Hawaii? The tee boxes were great, the fairways a little thin, the bunkers were good, the greens were fast and as usual hard to read, even if you know the butts are going toward the ocean. Great staff and great place to play. Did I mention the price is right? So plan on slow play and you wil enjoy the course very much.

Played Dos Lagos today for the first time and enjoyed the course. Played early and few golfers were on the course so completed 18 holes in 3 hours and 15 minutes. Like it that way. Easy to get to the course and good parking. No club house but a trailer and nice prota potties (even had flowers). No driving range but a small practice putting green. So nothing fancy to start with but the course made up for it and that is why we play golf. The tee boxes were ok, I thought the grass was too long and it was hard to place the tee but the rest of the course was great. The Fairways were in good condition, the snad bunkers were not a big challenge but the sand was soft and well drained. The greens were in excellent condition a little slow but way faster than most and a challenge to get to the hole due to the undulations and mountain affect. The front nine was tight but playable if you hit fairly straight. The long hitters will have a little problem if not in the fairway. Hit the fairway and you will have a great score and won't lose any golf balls. The back nine is open but some holes are greatly elevated, fun. I will be back to play Dos Lagos again. Oh! did I mention the price was very good.

Played Marshall Canyon on 4 Oct. The tee boxes had numerous divits, the fairways were in fair condition, lots of brown areas, the sand traps were ok, the greens were in good condition. No breakfast until 0700, and is limited. Lunch is also limited. Overall the green fee is reasonable and the course is very secnic and challanging. Needs a little care and it will be in good shape.
