Played here last week. The greens had been aerated about a week earlier. Were bumpy, but playable. The course was in good shape otherwise with the exception of the sand traps. Maybe it was just the time of year, but they were all hard pan. With the exception of the sand traps had a good day and enjoyed the layout. Pace of play was right at 5 hours.

I love to play this course. The whole course was aerated on this outing-tees, greens, fairways. Will probably be in great shape in a month. The thing I don't like about this course is that they let the members play in fives and sixes while we get to sit and watch. If you have a lot of patience you may in all likelihood enjoy this course. Bring a Calender. I don't think I will be going back.

Have played here a hundred times. The course condition seems to get worse everytime, lately. Played in the afternoon as a twosome. 5 hours 45 mins. Never thought I would be a advocate for a course marshall. Foursomes were coming up behind us and quitting. Looking for a new "go to" course. It's a shame. Used to be a fun place to play.

Played here for about the fifth time. Green fees very reasonable. Course was in pretty good shape considering the time of the year. Greens were very puttable and held well. It was a fun day of golf. I recommend that you try it.

Played Shastina in September. Play it every time I even get close to Mt Shasta. The course was in great shape and the pace of play was terrific. This course is a well kept secret. Play it if you get a chance! Red decomposed granite in the bunkers takes some getting used to. I'd avoid them if possible.

Very enjoyable course. Wide fairways and in reasonably good shape considering the time of year and the amount of play it gets. The carts are getting to the point where they crap out in the afternoon. Have a cell phone or be prepared to carry.

My favorite course in the greater Sacramento area. The staff is great. The clubhouse is terrific. The course is always in great shape. Everytime I play it I start thinking about when I can come back. Not crazy about hole #14, though.

Course was in pretty good shape except for the tees. Played the blues and couldn't find a place to tee it or stand that wasn't a divot. Tees also very mounded. Staff was great!

Played Lincoln Hills the Hills course on 4/24. The greens had been punched the previous week, but were tolerable. Should be back soon. Fairways were not in great shape yet. Changes made by new management should be good ones.
