Played on 12/4/2011 in the afternoon and the course was nice. Pace of play was quick since there wasn't too many people out there. Payed $22 with cart and small bucket. They just got all new range balls which was a bonus. Tee boxes were good and a few had level issues with the roots (it's an old course). Fairways were nice and green. Rough was perfect, penal but easy to find your ball. Greens were good, and fast down hill with some of the tricky pin locations. Bunkers are great, I think they got new sand because it's much softer than before (unfortunately I got to test the sand out way too much). The new golf carts are always a plus and the $7 pitchers of beer. Great affordable golf is this places middle name.

Played 12/11/2011 in the morning and thank God some else bought my round $41 to play executive course when there are full length courses within a few minutes away for less than $30. No way was the green fee worth it. The tee boxes were nice and level, the fairways were great except for large amount of divots in certain areas. The rough was nice and long yet not too long to lose balls in. The greens were disappointing, they were too soft, mushy, and a lot of ball marks. The worst part about the course was the sand traps. Are group took drops out of the bunkers because they are filled with gravel and sand. I would recommend looking elsewhere to play.

Played on 12/14/11 and cost $30, the course was in poor shape. Normally the fairways are nice and the greens are rolling even better. This was not that case. Most of the course was really thin and not green. Greens had a lot of ball marks. Customer service was terrible. Some guy with spiked hair showed favoritism to a couple of jerk members by delaying our tee time when they did not have a tee time. I see why the course is losing money.

Just finished playing today 10/6/2011. Course is getting better and better. Rough is nice and long, fairways are tight, and the greens were verticut last week which took some of the bounce out of them and made them a touch quicker. Also it only cost me $20 with my friends coupon.

Played 8/30/2011. Cost me $15 with cart at 1pm. Course was in a little better shape last month, but still not too bad. The rough is long which was nice, most courses have very little to no penalizing rough. It was nice to see a challenge. There was a few brown spotted fairways yet it has been 100+ degrees all week. The sand traps are perfect, not too soft yet easy to stick it close with a good swing. Tee boxes were nice but a little uneven at times due to the large tree roots (old course). Greens are fairly nice, they are little slow at times which is understandable especially considering the slope of a few of them. The new carts are nice too. This course and Apple Valley CC are the best public courses in the high desert by far.

Played Hesperia golf & country club on 1/17/2011 and it was great. It cost $22 with a cart at 11am. Pace of play was quick just under 4 hours. The course is getting better and better since July. It was a cow pasture for the last 6 years and it's nice to see it coming back to shape. The Bunkers have been renovating (weeds removed) and the fungus on the greens have been eliminated. All in all come play and keep the ball below the hole.

Billy Casper has absolutely ruined this place! The greens are shaggy! What happened to some of the best greens in so cal??? I guess the good news is Hesperia is looking better now that Hesperia Rec and Park is running the place and it's cheaper too.

Course is starting to come around again. You can tell that someone is finally giving this course the love it needs. Customer service was great and pace of play was great. Worth the green fee, and at this rate it should be back to it's full potential going into next summer.

Played on 10/2/09 afternoon

The Tee boxes were nice except a few were a little soft and swampy. The fairways were really wet and our group had quite a few plugged balls and the ones that didn't not plug only rolled about a foot. They need to learn to turn down the water. The greens were rolling really nice, although they were a bit wet too.

The new 18th hole is now open, and it's really good. It's best to favor the left and hit it about 260 from the blue tees which should leave a nice little wedge into the large green (well large for Green Tree). Or you can hit it over the tree line and knock it just off the front or hit a little cut and catch the front of the green if you can hit it 280+.

Also this course was under aeration alert, they punched on 9/14/09 and the greens have been fully healed for at least 10 days that I've seen.

Course was in good shape. It's been ran down for a few years, ever since Donvan Bros. Managment took it over and ran into the ground. I guess they now have new managers in there that seem to know what they are doing since the course is looking and playing much better. I really enjoyed it for the price!

Green Tree better watch out if they cannot get there swamp land fairways under control, Hesperia CC might take your business.

The course was in great shape tee to green, although the greens were shaggy, slow, and bumpy. Pace of play was a little slow. Had a good experience overall and I'll be back.

Course was in good shape, but they need to turn down the water. The fairways were way too soft when I played in the afternoon. Most balls I hit off the tee had mud on them when I arrived to them in the fairway. A little dissapointed that 18th hole recontruction is still not finished, they said it would be done in August a few months ago and it still looks like it has some work to be done. Also I was a little disturbed by the amount of people walking their dogs/riding bikes/hanging out/walking through the course. It is very distracting and annoying! As I came over the hill on hole 9 I saw a young guy walking through the course and he picked up my ball then took off. I told the guy in the Pro Shop and kindly apologized and replaced it. Thanks for making the situation right. I hope Green Tree can get a grasp on their tresspassing problem. In the end I'd still recommend playing here, good course at a good price.
