Not golfing here in over five years, I was in awe of the new clubhouse and pro ship. Beautiful!! The Pro shop and cafe staff were outstanding. We went to the range and again were over- whelmed with its beauty and layout. The Starter was great, he paired us up with another two guys and they were great, got us out 10 minutes early! By the third hole we were old friends. The fairways were in good shape overall. There were some that were gorgeous. The tee boxes were fine. But here were the low points. The bunkers were terrible, pretty much mud or gravel. The speed of the greens were so inconsistent. As an example on one green my buddy putted down hill with a strong stroke and it died halfway down, a very soft area, not mushy, just very soft. So, being the observant guy that I am, I put a bit extra into my uphill putt and flew past the hole to stop in the same area. The camaraderie made up for the putting, but not the scores.

Played on 8/3 in a 4some. Every area of this course was super, except for the bunkers. The sand traps for this course are better than most Inland Empire courses, but still not a Palm Springs quality. The course has a great practice facility for every part of the game. They also offer half day clinics on putting, chipping, etc. very reasonable and includes a putter or wedge. This is the best club in the Riverside area.

Played on 8/2, the course is in great shape, except for the bunkers. But if I want Palm Springs type sand, go to Palm Springs. The greens were in very good shape, the fairways great, and the teen boxes very good. The food was very good, the kitchen staff is excellent, and the Pro shop very friendly. One of my favorite local courses.

This is one of my favorite courses. It is in rough shape, a third to half of the fairways are yellow, the bunkers are hard packed mud, the tee boxes not level. The greens are in good shape. The elevation changes make this a challenging course. The restaurant was great! Thank you Rudy!! The Pro shop staff member was friendly. POP was 4 hours.

First time at this course. I was very hesitant after reading previous reviews, but I had a great experience! The staff in the Pro Shop were courteous, not friendly, but I wasn't looking for a hug. Just factual and direct, not rude. The course was in very good shape except for the bunkers. They were mud or dried mud. A few times the maintenance staff rode within twenty yards of us while we were hitting, a minor annoyance for the $37 fee. The greens had been pucnched about a week earlier, it bothered me more than impacting my putting. Tee boxes were in very good shape. I truly feel the earlier reviews could be disregarded, I was so pleasantly surprised with the course! We plan to return to play the North Course in August even though it is a 2hr 15 min drive one way.

Gorgeous course. Pro shop very welcoming and friendly. Driving range is great, chipping and putting areas perfect shape. The tee boxes , fairways, and greens provided me with no excuses. My next trip up north is based around this course. The cafe staff were so friendly and helpful. If you ever get the chance to play this course, DO IT!

Checked in at the Proshop and was made to feel welcome. I had asked to be paired with someone when I made reservations. They put me with Mike, who had played the course three times. Course knowledge is a must have here. Locating the 1st and 2nd tee boxes requires help. Played the white tees, the fairways are wide, with a wide first cut, and then the forest. I continually felt I was in a meadow while walking down the fairways. About 6 holes are blind tee shots. Even with my "guide" We made some mistakes, but it was so so beautiful. I hope to get up there again next year and play this again! Lunch in the cafe. Food was tasty, large portions and reasonably priced.

I ARRIVED OVER AN HOUR EARLY TO PREPARE FOR THE ROUND. NO ONE MENTIONED THE RANGE IS CLOSED ON THURSDAYS. WE DID PRACTICE ON THE PUTTING GREENS FOR A WHILE. I REALLY ENJOY THIS COURSE. THE LAYOUT IS CHALLENGING FROM THE BLUES, FOR ME (15 GHIN). THE FAIRWAYS AND GREENS WERE IN VERY GOOD SHAPE, THE POP WAS GREAT (4 HOUR ROUND), AND THE TEE BOXES IN GOOD SHAPE. HAD LUNCH IN THE CAFE AND IT WAS TASTY AND REASONABLY PRICED ($70 FOR 4 OF US WITH DRINKS).

What a disappointment. When reserving the tee time they did not tell us about the maintenance. 7 holes were cart path only. Very few of the fairways had grass, thus it was difficult to determine where to hit the ball on several holes. No water in the lakes. The crews working did not stop, but continued working when we're ready to hit. We had a 7:00 AM tee time, the Gen Mgr showed up at 7, we asked what time he normally opens, and he said 7. No apology offered. No drink cart on a 100 degree plus day.

The course is in great shape! The tee boxes were very nice, fairways cut short and green. The greens were darn near perfect. Wasn't in a single bunker, so I didn't jinx myself by checking them. Yes, it is obvious I had a great round! The staff as always were outstanding, Tammy and Julie in the coffee shop to Junior in the Pro shop. Using the Group Golfer coupon, I bought a nice shirt and got the 10% discount.

I haven't played this course for several years and was very disappointed on 4/26. The tee boxes were fair to poor with divots everywhere. The fairways okay to good condition, but there edges at the first cut bad. It was so bumpy, we were looking for a Chiropractor. The greens had been aerated recently, no problem as we were told at check in, but not when reservations were made. The bunkers were muddy or hard. The cart girl was no where to be found after 12:30. The pro shop staff was very friendly, and lunch was great!

Played the morning of 3/30, cold and rain sprinkled on us a couple of times. The course was beautiful. The greens are great, the fairways green and soft. The bunkers are dirt, not sand. I had breakfast and lunch in the café, the ladies in there are simply the best. The prices are low, and the banter is fun. In the Pro Shop, Junior was great. Still calls Seniors by Mr. XXXXX, and was very sincere. The rough between the parallel fairways is short and most wayward balls are found and playable. Prices are very reasonable, especially with a third party coupon.
