Played today right before a huge monson storm. The best course in the area by far. Its a little bit of a drive but ever aspect is great here. The cumstomer service is the best you will find the ameneties other than the unfinished clubhouse are the best. In mid summer the conditions are probably one of the best. Challenging but fair layout that has an amazing variety of holes. If you dont mind a little of a drive I 100% recomend this course.

An underrated course in the area. $39 for UNLIMITED golf at a nice TPC like this is great. Course isnt in great condition but still really nice for the middle of the summer. Layout is awesome and the service is top notch.

Enjoyable round at Oak Quarry. All around great conditions except some parts of the fairways and the bunkers aren't great but not as bad as recently reviewed. Got out late at 4 PM and finished at a blazing 2:41 POP. Highly recommend this track.

The most unbelievable golf course I have ever played. Got out to Trump on Thursday at an 11:10 tee time under perfect weather conditions. When you pull up to the club house they have free valet that takes your clubs and puts them on carts ready for you by the putting green. The clubhouse is gorgeous with a large restaurant and pro shop. When you enter you feel like your in a million dollar mansion over looking the ocean. Once you pay you can go order food from the deli where they have someone grilling up one of the most amazing hot dogs ive ever had for you. Also by playing the course you have full access to there state of the art locker room after your round. Next you drive over to the large grass range over looking the Pacific ocean. Now to the course! Sadly the course had just aerated the greens a week before but still rolled fine and looked pretty good. Every thin else on the course was in absolutely perfect shape. The layout of the course is extremely difficult with very narrow fairways on most holes. Many challenging greens and interesting bunkering. The highlight of the course are the many waterfalls and amazing ocean views. All in all, 100% worth the extra money even though there are great deals online. Cant wait for next chance I have to come out to the Trump.

Played the Kai course yesturday and got off real late at 4 PM. We werent expecting to play much golf but wanted to get a few holes in before our trip ended. Amazingly we ended up finishing 17 holes before dark! The rack rate for this course is pretty overpriced but we got out for half so it was an Ok price. Looked like a good driving range and large practice putting green. The course was in average condition. It would be a great course if they put a little love and maintnece into it. The highlight of the course were the greens. They had a couple imperfections but for the most part were very good. Everything else was a 7 to a 5. The worst being the bunkers. Lots of them had weeds inside and some were muddy, others light, hard to judge them. All in all a fun course with a great layout that I highly recommend for the right price.

Played the Dunes on 3-18 on a beautiful day on Maui with no wind. Got out for about 30 bucks with a member. The course is one of the hardest ive ever played. First 2 holes are nice pretty wide open with some challenge and the last two are the same but the other 14 holes in the middle are a different story. One thing that makes this course so hard is that the greens are ridiculosly slow, hard, and very inconsistent. On top of that the course is by far one of the most narrow courses ive ever seen and on most hole you cant see the green making it feel even more narrow. The rest of the courses conditons were ok except the tee boxes which were horrible. But after how hard and how OK the conditions were the layout is still great and completley worth the trip. If you do play this course hit your straightest club off the tee and dont be bummed if u dont get par on every hole. All in all a different experience for maui golf, but do recommend to anybody looking for a challenge.

Got a late start playing Ko Olina at 3:30 paying $99. The weather was perfect other than the stiff breeze that was to be expected. Clubhouse is beautiful with a large pro shop and a Roys resturant overwatching the 18th green. Every staff member we met was very nice and helpful. They give you water bottles in your ice chest, a free souviner cup, and cool towels after the round. The guy in the pro shop didn't think we would finish 18 but with a 3 HOUR POP!!! and being the last ones on the course, me made in all 18. If you dont want to be frusterated with slow pace of play, book your round before 3 because lots of little kids from the resorts are free and flood onto the golf course. Now on to the conditions. The greens were top dressed in the morning making the greens a little slower but not really affecting the roll. I wasn't in very many bunkers but they did not have any sand inside of them. The fairways were pretty good, a little thin but allways gave a good lie. The rough was at a good length and punished you for being in it. The tee boxes were level and green. Overall I really enjoyed the course. A lot like a palm springs resort styled layout with lots a beautiful water features and interesting hole desings.

Craziest thing I've ever seen. Played Sierra Lakes on Christmas Eve. Used the last of our Costco coupons. It was not an ideal day to go and play golf. The wind was blowing very hard and theirs a 3 hole stretch on the front that play directly into the wind. The course condition was ok. Everything was pretty average but the layout was pretty enjoyable. Now i witnessed the most out ragest things in my round. We got stuck behind a tournament of about 12 people. They were just ruining the course and it looked like it was there first time ever golfing. They were driving on the fringe of greens, having 10 people in the fairway, putting the whole tournament group on the tee box at the same time, drifting in the fairways. Bizarre!!!!!!!!! At 9 we asked the starter what was going on and he said he couldn't do anything because they payed a lot of money. We told them we were leaving so they gave us a rain check for the last nine holes which was fine, but was not impressed by the way they handled it.

Same as my previous review of the Nicklaus course. Played Sunday at 12:30 for $75 !!!!!!!!!! The facilities and customer service were all great. Found out that the putting green by the Stadium courses first hole was much larger than the one by Nicklaus. The Stadium's conditions were very comparable to the Nicklaus, every aspect of the course was in good condition. The major difference between the 2 is the challenge of the course brought on by the size of the greens, water hazards, well placed bunkers, and large mounds in fairways on all the holes. Many memorable holes including the #17 "Alcatraz". Overall a very good experience between the 2 courses and I highly recommend coming to PGA West.

PS. Book your tee times their website cause it gives a higher discount than golfnow.

Played PGA West Nicklaus on Saturday and got off a little early at 12:38. Only payed $50 to play at this great, well maintained golf course. The clubhouse is amazing when you walk in with the large pro shop and nice restaurant connect to the clubhouse. Great, large driving range with good chipping area. Its always cool when you go to hit balls and there already in a perfect pyramid!!! The only con was the size of the putting green next to the Nicklaus tee box.... it was pitiful for a facility like this. The course was really enjoyable and in great shape to play on. The tee boxes were all lush and soft. The fairways were all perfect and green. They were a little soft from a good rain the day before. The sand traps were all full of good fluffy sand. The greens were pretty hard and fast but always rolled true. Overall it was a great experience on the first day of our PGA West golf trip and got us ready for the Stadium the next day.

Played Cross Creek on Sunday 10/13. This course seems to be very underrated. I cant imagine how great of a round it would be here if the conditions were at its peak!! The drive to the course is a little wacky after u get off the freeway and u feel like your in the middle of no where when you arrive. The part i appreciated most about the course is the fact that we were pretty much the only ones on the course and there is no car noise, just nice silence. The layout is interesting with some plain holes and some great holes. By far the best hole is the Par 3 17th that gave me a feel i was in Amen Corner. Course conditions were fair. If the course was perfectly maintained it would be a special place to play. The worst part of the course was the greens which was expected after being punched a week before. Its a great value and will be a great course when they get the little maintenance errors fixed.
