Decided to play RSJ on a whim since they lowered their rates and twilight time. Staff at shop was nice. Haven't played this course for some time and it was pretty much how I remember it. It's a walkable course. Thin/patchy fairways and decent greens. Pace was surprisingly good for the front 9 and slowed down on the back. The layout is interesting and wind can be a factor but because of the greens fees are a little high I don't see myself comming back that often. Also, I noticed the course marshal doesn't have water. It was a cool day but just an FYI if you're here on a hot day.

Played for the first time today. Nice short layout. There are couple of holes you could try different approaches. The wind comes into play on most of the holes. Tee boxes were a bit beat up and the some parts of the fairways were very thin. Greens were decent.

The greens are back. I've stayed away from EL Dorado because the greens seemed to be in bad shape for a while. It looks like some of the areas around the greens have been cut down browning the grass but despite the color, very playable. The fairways were firm. I did notice roped off GUR areas with new sod that was mostly out of play. I only had to drop out of a section once on the 10th.

Played weekend twlight and got through in little more than 4 hours. Pace of play was great. The greens were rolling good. Course played a little different because the prevailing wind was blowing in a different direction. Some of the blue tee boxes were moved forward to the whites.

Course is in pretty decent shape. Green were surprisingly fast on on some holes and putts rolled true. Fairways were a little thin and almost like hitting off of hard pan in some areas. After my second time playing this course, I could definitely see scoring better with some better strategy on some of the odd short par 4s.

Slow weekend round. Starter mentioned that there were two tournaments in the morning. Greens were in decent shape and fairways were a little thin at times. Blue tees were moved up on several holes so the course was playing shorter than normal. On a couple of holes I noticed the yardages on the scorecard were different from posted yardages. All and all not too bad a round.

Got a twilght round in this weekend. Pace of play was a little slower than normal on the front nine, but it picked up by the turn. I've rarely seen some action by the course marshall but whatever happened sure did the trick. As for the course, the greens were nice and running fast. The rest of the course was in decent shape.

Slow weekend round at Skylinks. Fairways are firm, so play for some roll. Greens were in decent shape.

Still under construction, but playable. The fairways in many areas are muddy and/or sodded. The greens were alright at least. I could see this place being favorite if the course was in better shape with the nice views. Pace of play was slow, but I guess it's that way there all the time. The layout was decent. Only few holes had severe dogleg/blind shot type tee shots. You will definately play better the second time around.

Walked on during the weekday and got right on as a 4 some. The course is in nice shape. The greens were fast and the rough is was thick. Keep your eyes on your ball if its not in the fairway. First time playing at Torrey Pines and most likely my last unless someone else pays. Don't get me wrong the course is nice and a "must play" but it's really expensive for anybody but San Diego residents. So, just take in the views and enjoy the experience and not think about the greens fees.

A long round on the weekend. The greens were in great shape and fast. The fairways were browned out and the course looked in terrible shape. I don't know if it is dormant burmuda but there were lots of bare spots. I would not come back until the fairways and overall course conditions improve because of the drive and greens fees.

Played Sunday twilight and it was very slow. It rained in the morning. El Dorado does not drain well in many spots. The greens were recently punched and sanded so, the greens were slow.
