I'd play this course again if I was taking a friend there for the first time. The full weekend greens fee in my opinion is too steep. If you can get a significant discount it is a great golf course with great veiws.

Monarch Beach was a very good golf course that is in near perfect condition. It's a good course for shooting low scores if you're driving well and putting good. The 50% dicount card I got with my OC golf trail card made the price reasonable. At full price I think it would be out of reach for me and many others.

I would play this course again and again. The wind was not a factor the day I played but I understand it can blow pretty hard up in the hills and that could make the course play much harder than it is. The rental clubs were a little pricey but a very good set of clubs to swing if you don't have your own with you. Everyone treated me well and made the day that much more enjoyable.

This is the best golf course I've had the pleasure of playing and would recommend it to anyone who is intereted in quality at any price. The rental clubs were top quality also and the couurse and facilities were second to none. I'll be playing this course again soon, and believe the greens fee was well worth it. A great day of golf.
