Played 4-17. Course is in overall good shape. They punched the greens a few weeks ago and they have recovered for the most part. Fairways are punched in some areas but barely noticeable.

This is a fairly challenging course. Club selection into the greens need to be very precise, otherwise you can leave yourself some impossible two putts due to the different tiers on the greens.

Well worth the money for the golfnow.com price.

Played 7-5-10. Course is in good shape, greens rolled well, fairways are pretty decent and bunkers were good quality. Pace of play was good. This is a challenging course, especially when the wind blows. Excellent bang for the buck in my opinion.

Played November 2nd. Course is immaculate. Greens are fast and true, fairways are spotless, sand is great and pace of play was excellent (little over 4 hours). The fairway rough is not as penal as it can be, the rough around around the greens is longer but very manageable. Simply a great golf course.

Course is in great shape right now. Greens rolling well, fairways are excellent. $25 for this course is the best green fee value in San Diego.

Played June 6. Greens rolled well and had firmed up since I last played here. Fairways were in good shape. Pace of play was a little slow but we were paired with some fairly slow players.

This is a challenging course when the wind blows and most players will hit every club in the bag here. Very walkable and $19 is a great deal for weekend twilight.

Playe 4-5-09. First time playing this course. Overall, I like it. It's an interesting layout that has several lakes and environmental areas throughout the course. The greens were punched a couple of weeks ago, they were still a bit bumpy in spots but should be fully healed in another week or so. Fairways, tee boxes and sand quality were all good. The course is plenty long and the wind seems to swirl around a lot here. $19 twilight rate on weekends to walk is a great deal. Will be back.

Played 3-29. FYI - the greens will be aerated on 3-30. It was my first time playing here.

The good - the conditions generally were excellent. Greens were firm and very fast, fairways were great to hit off, tee boxes were very good and sand quality was excellent. Staff were friendly and pace of play was good.

The bad - it is overpriced. $100 is way too much for this course, range balls not included either. Carts only, I personally dislike courses that won't allow you to walk. To be fair walking would be impossible here as some holes have a 500 yard gap between the green and next tee box. There are power lines everywhere on the course and planes are constatntly taking off over your head which is a little distracting.

The layout is a little contrived which is not surprising given the terrain. There are lots of eleveation changes throughout which makes distances difficult to judge. Many greens have several tiers so if you aren't on the correct tier you can be faced with some treacherous putts. I think the back 9 has better holes and the back to back par 5's gives you a chance to get some momentum going.

It is definitely a course for the more skilled player, there is plenty of trouble on this course, the wind is tough to judge and it's easy to lose balls.

Overall, I would play here again but not for anything approaching the regular green fee $. (Fortunately, I got a free round. :))

Excellent short course. 14 par 3's and 4 par 4's. Narrow holes, and fast, sloping greens. Played 3-7-09, the course was in good shape. The greens are fast and true. A great place to work on your irons and reasonably priced.

Played 1/23. Course is in good shape. It had rained the day before but there was barely a sign of it on the course. Greens rolled true with medium pace, fairways are on the thin side but you still get a good lie. Pace of play was excellent. This course requires straight driving and good lag putting on the large greens. There is still some construction between holes 15 and 16 but it isn't really a factor. Customer service is always very good here.

Played 12/24. Course is in very good shape. The fairways are excellent and the greens are pretty quick right now, they are a little bumpy but that's prob. b/c of the recent rains. The rough is, as usual, brutal. It's very hard to get longer clubs on the ball and chipping from it can be very challenging. Pace of play was about average here, 5 hours. $43 for a city resident is still one of golf's great deals.

Played 10/30. Tee to green the course is in very good condition, tee boxes and fairways are lush and the rough is penalizing without being ridiculous. The greens however, are very average. They were bumpy, slow and cut inconsistently. The course is very scenic and I would def. recommend it when the greens are in better shape.

Played 11/2. Can't fault the conditions, the fairways were lush and the greens were fast, smooth and true. The greens here can be a real challenge due to the speed, undulations and tricky hole locations. Not the most inventive layout you will play, but the course conditions are consistently better than most. $52 for twilight (played in 3.5 hours) was a pretty good deal.
