This course is in horrible shape right now. Word is the greens keeper left skylinks to go to El Dorado. Not sure if its true or not, but El Dorado is in pristine shape ans Skylinks is crumbling.
Many of the greens are a joke. On a few greens there are racing stripes across the green. There are pock marks all over the green and they look like they have been neglected. Fairways are all dried out and thin. Chipping just off the green is rather a challenge because of the tight lies, accompanied with dead spots. Some of the holes are in great shape, but overall the course was lacking severely from what it was a year ago.
Skylinks management either needs to get a new greens keeper or lower their rates. $72 w/cart for a round is a joke when $20-$30 less gets you a round of golf in the same area on a much nicer course (at the moment)

Never playing here again. Pace of play is brutal. Players here with zero etiquette. Greens battered. Some tee boxes might as well be considered the first cut. I tried to give this course a second chance but it only got worse. 6 hours for 15 holes.

This was easily the worst experience I've had golfing. Course conditions were bad, pace of play was terrible, and the overall lack of awareness from the majority of the "players" was awful...

Pay for a muni and you really get a muni at La Mirada. Other courses in the area are dramatically surpassing this once pleasant course.

Course was in Great condition... greens were nice although somewhat tricky... Some holes are more challenging than others, some are your basic up and down... Some greens are really difficult not only to read but to actually have your approach shot stay on... Have played this course a few times in the past month. Tee times before 8am and you can get a 4 hour round in (Saturdays) After 9 am, tell your wife you may be gone all day...

Pro shop is friendly, buy 4 beers get 2 free, so take a 6 pack out there with you...

Practice putting greens are in sublime shape...

Tee boxes are in good shape, fairways are cut nice, rough is not that much of a challenge.

Fun course, good price to ride/play 18...

Oh yeah and the HB weather makes for a gorgeous afternoon...
