For how well this course is kept I was really surprise how inexpensive the greens fees were. $15 on the weekend! If you're a golf pro you'll probably be yawning on some of the holes from lack of a challenge but for excutive course its acutally on the harder side. There's two water carries to the green and a couple holes that anything hit past the green will be OB. Green's are FAST. I didn't have time to practice on the putting green before we teed off and it was a mistake as I watched my first putt fly past the hole. Overall a great excutive course, well maintained and very reasonably priced.

played on 2/28/09. The course has a very nice layout with alot of carries over water. It was very clear where most people hit there approach shots from on some holes via the divots and alot of the grass is already california golden even though it was only Feb. The tees and greens were very well taken care of its the spaces inbetween that could have used some more work, but for a municipal and the green fees it really was bad at all. Overall the course is really nice I guess I just wish they would water the fairways and roughs more.

Played 1/31/09. The course is a real beauty. It looks out over Morro Bay and the ocean. There's lots of hills and almost every hole has some kind of major elevation change. Which means you get some great view of the water and some great elevated tee shots. It also means you should be ready to walk uphill quite a bit or else make sure to rent a cart. The course from tee to green is well taken care of, there are a few spots on the fairway that could use some extra water though. I played from the gold tees, which seem to be the least used and on a few holes had trouble finding solid dirt under the grass to place my tee in. The course is also very forgiving, with no water hazards, few bunkers, and very little OB even with my erratic tee shot I didn't lose a single ball. Watch out for the greens though, they're alot tougher then they look and most have a hidden break towards the ocean. Of course some of them don't and you'll plan for the break and be fooled so pay close attention to them.

My apartment is down the street from this course and I try to play it once a week or so. It’s definitely worth the green fees. It is a 9-hole 3-par though so don’t expect anything too tricky.

This course is about a mile from my house and I've played it a few times in the past month mostly because the green fees are cheapest in the area. Some areas need some serious maintenance and if you play on a busy day or at a busy time be ready to be waiting at most of the tees. Basically if want to save some cash and don’t mind playing a short, slow par 3 this isn’t a bad place to play.
