Played 8/15, Friday afternoon, and we were the first ones out for quite a while, because we saw nobody. Course was in great condition and we had a great round, but I had a heck of a time figuring out the breaks on these greens. Almost every putt looked completely different from each side of the green. Also a lot of blind shots, but generally the terrain gave you some idea where to go. Great time for $40!

Got the first tee time on a weekday and they put my partner and me together with two other guys, then sent a twosome in a cart out behind us, which seemed a little odd. We played in 3:15 and still felt a bit rushed. The course is pretty green, but the greens are sooo slow, it was very difficult to get the speed right on the putts, and one of them had 2 inches of standing water in the middle of it. What's the ruling on that? :) And there were three tees with the sprinklers actually spraying the whole tee box. It's a fun course and the staff is nicer than your average muni course, but I won't be going out at 5:49am again anytime soon.

Teed off at 8:50am, 6/28. I grew up playing this course, and lately each time I go back I'm pleasantly surprised. They are making a big effort to keep this very busy course in good condition. The new bunkering is great, the greens are much firmer than they used to be, and it's still a pretty good value. Problems: lots of ball marks on the greens, and they still put out FIVESOMES! The five in front of us fell a hole behind, so did they send the marshall out? Nope, they put a group in front of them on the 10th. Come on!

Played here 7/30, teed off at 8:45am, second time I played it but the first time was about two years ago. This course has a nice layout, tough but still fair, although a yardage book would come in handy if you don't play here often, simply because there are a fair number of blind shots and the GPS doesn't feature a hole map. Has anyone else noticed that, with the exception of the first par 3 that is quite long, all the rest of the par 3's play between 160 and 175 (from the blues, considering up or downhill)? Still a great course, but I was a little perplexed when I pulled out my seven iron for the 4th time to tee off on a par 3.
The course was a little soggy when I played, especially the greens, which were having a hard time healing from ball marks (many of which were not fixed, so not their fault). The fairways and tee boxes were very well kept, though, and I think this course is a great deal for the money, compared to other OC golf courses.

Played 4/15. Pace of play reflects being behind a very slow foursome, but the twosome in front of them wasn't exactly motoring. A couple of fairways had drainage problems, and the greens were very scruffy (to be fair, they probably hadn't been able to mow due to recent rains). All in all, a fun course, but a couple of goofy holes. My one major complaint: lack of course marking. Several blind shots, no GPS, no yardage book, and the hole maps on the tee boxes are almost completely faded out.
