This is a great time to challenge yourself and take on TPC Harding Park with the rough thick and lush before tee times become more scarce prior to the PGA Championship in May. The greens ran smoothly and the pace of play was good. The fairways and aprons have been lightly sanded so there’s limited roll and it’s hard to chase one up onto the greens. The customer service was outstanding.

Aviara has a great design and is in wonderful shape for the upcoming Kia. It makes you think off the tee with tight and turning fairways. I recommend leaving the driver in the bag on most of the front nine holes but then break it out on the back 9. Watch for occasional green fee specials or twilight deals. Aviara provides a golfing experience you will not forget.

Conditions and pace of play have significantly improved. The greens are in very nice shape at this time. If you can play here before the greens are punched in May, you should do so.

This is a very enjoyable course which was in surprisingly great condition given the temp later in the day hit 115. The early morning was wonderful. The GPS is particularly helpful for a group's first visit, but be warned, the GPS electronic scorecard resets itself at the 18th green so note your score before then or you will lose the entire round. We had to reconstruct the back 9 since the system erased our rounds before we could enter the scores for the 18th hole. Otherwise, a fun track!

Course is ready for the pros! The greens are fast and the rough is tough.

The North course is in its best shape of the year. The rough has grown out nicely, which puts a premium on hitting the fairways to reach in regulation.

This is always a fun course. It needs about three more weeks before the recent maintenance takes hold and the greens smooth out again.

The nature and extent of the renovations and maintenance projects on the South Course were much more extensive than the Course's published maintenance schedule suggested. The green fees should be reduced by 50% on the South at this time.

The course uses an appropriate mixture of canyons, wind and changes in elevation for a very enjoyable golf experience. The course drained well with the extensive rains.
