Played Sat. tee'd off at 7am.

Tee Box= Firm and thin

Fairways= FIRM and thin

Rough= Doesn't exist

Sand Traps= FIRM dirt/gavel in most.

Greens= Firm but roll nicely. Tough to repair divots due to the greens thinness. So it takes a little work to repair correctly.

After round complimentary hot dog= Firm. The gal working the grill was just getting used to working it. So the first few where crispy, but not too bad.

I love the challenge and layout of the course. Its such a change from most courses in so. cal. but it needs to get in better shape before I return.

Lastly, their customer service is usually great. The guy working the pro shop was very cool, but the starter shouldn't be telling folks what to do on the first tee outside of local rules etc.. She tells us, "don't take a mulligan or breakfast ball please on the first hole, we are very busy today" Our response "excuse me but we play GOLF" Mulligan, breakfast ball, really? I also mentioned to her that our carts brakes do not function well and when she gets a minute send out for a better cart. She states "I doubt that will happen as we are booked up today?" whatever... on hole 11 we are approached by a marshal who tells us that its bottle-necking on 7 8 and 9. He warns us that we may get a few groups being pushed or skipping holes...wtf?? We seen no one a hole and a half behind us. We did notice a backup all along the front nine when we finished. - Don

Played on Sat. 1/14. Rec. a good rate (52) so can't complain too much..the greens where great as usual, but the fairways are dried out Bermuda. Heard from the marshal that they opted not to re-seed this year. So expect LOTS of roll and thin lies. The rough could use some growth as well. The sand was inconsistent and some of the tee boxes where a bit uneven. If you are used to your typical redhawk conditions, come back when the fairways grow back.

Played Sat. 3rd group out..cold but warmed up by 4th hole. Course is really great condition!! Green where running at a 11 (cool that they actually measure the speed) seemed more like 12!! Course demands all your best shots you have. The customer service is outstanding. They take their golf seriously and so do I, maybe that's why I like it there so much. We had this threesome that was moving very slowly. (play your tees like the starter hinted to you) While making the turn the starter told us that he spoke to the slow group and told them quote.."2 1/2 hrs is unacceptable, you need to pick it up". We thanked him and we went straight to the 10th and expected to see the threesome just teeing off, but instead they where already putting..LOL..it worked. Go play this course, play it smart and you will love it.

Played Sat. 7/23 ..i've played this course when in pristine condition, so I know how it can look. Take what JohnnyGK stated as fact in regards to courses going through its cycles. Yes there are wet spots, yes that makes it difficult to know if the ball will check or not, yes its hard to chip when the lie is thin and wet, but the course is still awesome. Its worth the 55.00 to play and the course will only get better. If you are looking for perfect conditons, wait a few weeks. Quick tip, if you usually play the whites, play the "mixed" 18 holes. Whites are really short here, so they have incorporated some holes where you play from the blues. Makes the course a bit longer but still very fair.

played this am, yes it was cold. 2nd group out finished in less than 4hr. first time here and what a value (39.00 w/cart incl.gps). nice track, not too tough but a fair challenge. greens are close to being very good, just a little bumpy. Fairways running your typical winter speed (fast) so no need for driver on many holes. sand was granular and from some reason made me look like gary player when I was coming out of them..lol Def. will be back.

Played 7/25.. tee'd off at 545am.. Very nice conditions for July. Greens where fantastic, smooth and held well. Fairways, rough and sand all very good. Good deal for 60.00 Plays as nice or better than many courses in the area for 99.00+

Played 7/24.. tee'd off at 650am. Service was great, but he course is awesome. A lot of fun and very unique. What a kick to play copies of some of Jack's fav. holes in the west. Greens recovered well from being punched two weeks ago. A must play for the Vegas area.

Played 5/8 tee'd off at 710am and finished at 1036am..wha what!! Yup under 4hrs hated to leave the course so quickly. The course is in awesome shape and for the price, it'll be hard to find a better course for money. Everyone was great, my only drawback was that the first tee time is at 7am. First light is around 545am. Oh well I guess they like to sleep in. I will definatley play this course again, but after I cross off some other off my Coachella list. Next up is the Classic Club.
