Played on 3/14. Weather was perfect. Staff was great as always. I've played here dozens of times and I've never seen the greens look so lush and, well, green. In fact, it took a few holes to adjust to them not being US Open-fast like they normally are.
This course is a true hidden gem, one of the best-kept secrets in So. Cal. It's challenging, but fun to play. A single can get on during a weekend morning without too much waiting. A must-play.

Played it for the first time on 2/29. 5 hours to play on a Sunday afternoon is about what I expected. I was very impressed with the condition of the greens. They're very smooth and fast, but will hold a middle-iron shot. A few of the fairways were a little shaggy, but that could be due to the frequent rain lately. Yardage markers could be more clearly defined, particularly on the par-5's. Overall, it's an enjoyable course to play, and I would definitely come back.

Played 2/22 after steady rain overnight. The course drains very well. Only a couple of soggy spots. As always, the staff is terrific, the course is in great condition, and it's fun to play.

Played on 2/21. Course was wide open due to threat of rain. Or, was it wide open because they jacked the green fees up to $80? Increased green fees was to be expected when they opened their new clubhouse, but an increase of $15 is a little much. The course is in fine condition, as always. Other than the first green, which looked as if it had been pelted by meteorites, the greens roll very nicely at a good speed to make putts. The tee boxes and fairways are nice and lush, and the sand traps are in good shape. I still recommend this course to everyone I talk to, because it's just beautiful, and it's worth it just to play the 18th. But the $80 green fee is right at my limit. And if I'm going to pay $80, I'd rather play Oak Valley or either of the SCPGA courses across the freeway.

There's a strong rumor of this course closing in July or August, and that's too bad because it's an interesting and challenging course. It's just not worth $95 Saturday green fees. Played there on 2/8 in a tournament. It took over 5 1/2 hours to play. Possibly due to the 20 - 30 MPH winds that made some holes nearly unplayable. It was nice to reach the par-5 11th in two with driver-pitching wedge, but coming up 60 yards short of the par-4 18th with driver-2 iron was a little frustrating. Lightning-fast greens with lots of break. Lots of places to lose golf balls.

I live 5 minutes from this place and I usually play it only as a last resort. To my surprise, it wasn't that bad. The greens were rebuilt a few years ago and are now in pretty good shape. The fairways are nice and lush, but, the sand traps are devoid of sand. And, flat tee boxes are few and far between. If you can get past the smell of the dairies to the south and the sewage treatment plant to the east, and you can drink your beer really fast before the flies attack, it's cheap golf.

Greens are as slick as I've ever seen them. Course is in good shape. A few holes next to the freeway can be a little noisy, but still a fun course to play. Very busy on the weekends.

This is a must-play course if there ever was one. Gorgeous setting, out in the middle of nowhere surrounded by lots of oak trees. Bring your A-game, or lots of golf balls because this is a challenging course.

Very short course, flat as a day-old beer, with little tiny greens. It would have been more enjoyable had they not been aerating the greens while we were playing.
