This was my first roumd at SJHGC. I had avoided it over the years because I heard it was a very slow play. That was the furthest from the truth today. The pace was perfect and we never waited for a group in front and we never were pushed by a group from behind. My biggest complaint is there are about four or five holes that are cart path only. This always seems to slow down play. The greens were a bit bumpy. The fairways are a bit inconsistant in condition. The traps have a sand I had never seened before. A dark color that looks wet. But it turns out to be a very fair surface. I liked the layout. Not real long but it gets you to think before every tee shot. I'll play here again. You should play somewhere else so I can still get tee times.

I love this course. Always have. With the exception of #18 wich is a poorly layed out hole. Played the course on 4/25. CrossCreek was in good but not great shape. The greens on the back were MUCH fast then the greens on the front. Some of the best sand traps in the area.

One of the best managed courses I have ever played. The staff is top notch and went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
