I played today for a "discount" rate of $40 with 6 of my friends. I was mightily disappointed with the pro shop's inaccurate description of the golf course's condition. I was told that the greens were going to be punched with small tines on the 25th & 26th, and as such, the greens were going to be pretty much healed by the weekend.

The greens today were the most disgusting set that I've ever played. Some of the greens weren't sanded properly so that you had hundreds of large-sized holes and no sand to have a decent line to the cup.

I'm glad that my larger group wasn't able to make it out to UHCC today. I'll never consider taking them here unless it's for a significantly cheaper group rate. The other courses in the area offer more than this course.

I played this course for the first time on the 9th of July and I have to say that it stays true to its reputation of being carved out of rock. So many elevation changes and large bunkers that came into play made my round very enjoyable. Pace was okay and the starter provided range balls while we waited to tee off. I would love to go back again and try to get on the green on the 14th hole. Just missed it by hitting the lip of the bunker. Beautiful hole.

Played here last Wednesday on the 15th at 7:30 in the morning. It didn't get hot until the last 6 holes or so, making play very enjoyable. I hadn't played here in sometime, probably because of the difficulty of the course and my beginner status. The fairways were in good condition as were the greens. I just wish they had more water around the course. Hot hot hot.

I finally decided to play the Legends course after hearing about the facility last year from a friend. A lot of the other courses in the IE are currently doing their overseeding and have a lot of CPO rules in place right now.

The teeboxes and fairways were in fairly good condition. There were a few spots on the fairways on a few holes where it was obvious that the water didn't drain well and some fool decided to spin his golf cart wheels in it. The greens! In excellent condition. I didn't see too many ballmarks that I could describe as being severe. The speeds of the greens were lightning fast. It was very tricky to get a long approach shot to catch and hold.

I enjoyed playing here and the staff was great. I played with 2 others and the whole round took about 4.5 hours considering that we had a group of pre-teens who thought they were golfers. I hope to get to play on the Champions track sometime soon.
