Played very early this Sunday morning, at 5:40, was able to join a very gentlemanly foursome after the first hole. This was my regular course for several years but have only played it a couple of times since the remodel. Today, the conditions were some of the best I've seen here. Only the scruffy tee boxes on some of the holes were bothersome. Fairways were plush and green. Greens were medium speed, and perfectly smooth. Bunkers seemed fine. How nice it is to see Roosevelt back in shape. Will be back soon!

Played Sunday afternoon, 6-20. I hadn't played here in over six years, and I've been missing out! Conditions were very good to great all the way around. Tee boxes are level, fairways are plush (and mostly green), providing good lies throughout. Greens were smooth but not too fast at all, sometimes even slow which I don't mind. I was in one greenside bunker and got out fine. POP was the only somewhat negative, with the round taking just over 5 hours, as we waited on every par 3, and some other holes to tee off. The layout is wonderful, with plenty wide fairways, with challenging but not overwhelming forced carries. I would love to come back soon!

Played Sunday morning, 11-15. We teed off on time (8:30), and we had no POP issues. Only waited on the par 3's on the back 9 and no one pushed us from behind. Finished in a leisurely 4:15. Fairways are somewhat thin with hardly any plush lies but good enough if your tee shots were decent. Bunkers were ok with enough sand so that I was able to play my normal bunker shot. Greens had some signs of the last aeration but didn't affect the putting; speed was medium. Some tee boxes had hardly any grass but still manageable. Approaching winter conditions but nothing drastically bad to leave any bad taste.

After reading the prior, very helpful review, I played on 6/25, at 5 pm. No waiting on any hole. Fairways were as good as I can expect. In fact, for $7.50 to walk, conditions were beyond reproach except for two bunkers I was in; the lie was hard-packed and difficult for me. Tee boxes were fine. The changed layout is also a positive; the first few holes are much more gettable than the old layout. I'd like to go back to take advantage of the longer daylight.

Played Sunday morning at 8 am, 6-9-19. Our 4-some got off right on time, and it was smooth sailing. We finished in about 4:30, with basically no waiting at any holes. Fairways were in really good condition, giving many plush lies. Some of the bunkers had some heavy sand and a couple of tee boxes were quite hard (but better than before). The rough was not very penal with making decent contact relatively easy. The greens were overall smooth; slow-ish but no complaints. The 4th player, a single who joined us, turned out to be a former college player who shot a very easy 69 (could easily have been a 66). It was very entertaining watching someone that good up close.

Played Saturday, 5-25, 8:16 tee time. Our 4some teed off on time, and POP was a leisurely 4.5 hours. Greens were pretty smooth and moderate speed, especially on the back 9. No issues with the greens. I wasn't in any bunkers but they looked OK. Fairways were overall fine; not super lush but plenty of good lies especially if you hit good drives. Rough is not penal, and tee boxes were overall fine as well. A good time was had with perfect weather.

Played 4-13-19, Saturday, 7:50 tee time. Teed off right about on time, our 3-some behind a not very fast 4-some. Most of our waiting was on the front 9 and POP was about 5 hours. Fairways were generally fair throughout. Greens were somewhat bumpy and the one bunker I was in was kind of thin but I got out ok. Fairways were decent with no major complaints; not plush but certainly playable. Rough didn't seem too penal. I do like the layout of this course with visually challenging but not unfair forced carries, especially on the back 9.

Played on 3-30-19 (Saturday) morning. 8:08 tee time and hardly anyone gathered at the first tee box. My twosome wasn't joined by anyone and we had to wait on the 4-some in front of us for most of the round (can't be helped). POP was about 4:25. Fairways were overall fair to good although some parts were quite bumpy. Dirt patches here and there but not too intrusive. Greens were OK, again pretty fair. A few had some fungus-like circles but again not too intrusive. Bunkers had some heavy-ish sand but again, ok. Fairway rough was not too penal at least when I was in there. Biggest negative was that a few tee boxes were close to rock-hard, making pushing a tee in quite a chore. Weather was perfect and overall the course looked green which is a plus.

Played on 1/5/19, Saturday morning. 740 tee time and our 3-some finished in about 4 hours, with no POP issues. I love the challenging but not too challenging layout. But conditions overall were disappointing. Most of the greens looked almost fungus-infested; they were still relatively smooth with decent speed but they did not look healthy. The fairways were dormant; the ball ran forever (which was good on some holes). Good iron shots were still possible but more difficult to pull off. The bunkers were thin although I fortunately played them well. Tee boxes were fine.

Played on 12-15, Saturday, 8:15 tee time. Our 4-some wasn't the fastest, and we eventually fell behind the twosome in front of us. Finished in a leisurely 5:10, without anyone pushing us after 3-4 holes. I appreciate the repaved cart paths, and the fairways were a solid 7 out of 10; not plush but not bare or too scruffy. Greens were on the slow side but pretty smooth, although downhill putts were still tough. I wasn't in the sand but looked fine. The tee boxes were generally fine but for a few that were not very flat. Solid customer service.

Played Sunday morning, 7:44 tee time; got out on time and there was virtually no waiting after the 2nd hole. Finished in a leisurely 4:40, with no one pushing us. Tee boxes were sufficiently level. Fairways were mostly fine, with decent coverage in areas you should be playing from. Still dealing with gopher holes but not as bad as 6 months ago. Greens were pretty smooth and not many ball marks either. The bunkers looked ok, at least not hard packed. Overall, Wilson is in better shape than it was last year, and the course just did not seem too crowded throughout the round.

Played Sunday morning, 8:40 a.m., 4-7, and finished in about 4:25. Overall, I enjoyed the round, hitting off decent to good fairways and putting on slow-ish but smooth greens. The bunkers had pretty heavy sand but manageable. The one minus was the hard tee boxes, with several tee boxes very hard to barely get a tee in the ground, combined with hardly any grass which can affect shots on the par 3s.
