Played Monday, May 19 with my wife. Both of us enjoyed it a lot. The fairways were in good shape and the greens were very smooth. It was a fun test of golf, quite fair. The long par 5 tenth hole is quite a challenge, followed by an equally difficult long par 4 but the rest of the course has holes which are quite reachable. Water comes into play on many hole, but none as deviously as the first hole with woods on the left and a lake on the right. A fun way to start. My only complaint are the sand traps. It seems the members don't rake them and the rakes they have are not very good rakes. The course was nearly deserted on Monday. We really enjoyed it

Played in early March and the course was in fantastic shape. The greens were smooth and relatively fast. Fairways excellent. Bunkers mostly dry and well maintained. Roughs short and playable. The par 5's are reachable but have small greens, so laying up to your favorite wedge often the better idea. I find the par 3's here very playable and all are a different length. The par 4's vary from a fairway wood and sand wedge to driver and long iron. Wind is the biggest challenge here and if blowing hard, the extremely long par 4 closing hole can be unreachable in regulation. Quite a challenge.

This is a fun course. And it has the women's tees well forward which is really good. For as busy as it is, the course is in great shape. The tees were even, the fairways great, the roughs are appropriately long and the greens were smooth and a proper speed for the undulations in them. If you keep it in the fairway you can shoot a good score here, the last 3 holes being the biggest challenge. Even the sand traps were in good shape and, again, for getting a lot of play, most had been properly raked by the golfers. The staff was friendly. The only "problem" is finding it. The resort signage isn't that good and the pro shop is in the Markeplace store.

This is a gorgeous course. Very spetacular for central Florida. It was in great shape and the service was outstanding. The clubhouse is amazing, the men's locker room there are no words to describe it properly. Incredible. We found the layout somewhat repetitive. A massive display of sand traps on the fairways, most often in the middle pretty much on every hole, often hidden on the side of the fairway. Very interestingly shaped and the greens were just as well bunkered. However, if sand sand and more sand is the #1 feature of the course then why weren't the bunkers properly drained? All were wet and it had not rained recently. In some traps the sand was less than an inch deep which made getting out of the deep traps almost impossible. The small gps were difficult to read and didn't tell you how far it was OVER the traps. Take your own with you.

The whole course was in wonderful condition in spite of it being the rainy season. Tees, fairways and greens were all great. I always enjoy the variety of this course, noteably the par 4's. The service was great too with iced up coolers with two bottles of water per cart which were refreshed between nines. Great in such hot weather. My only complaint is with the new food set up, trying to get a sandwich between nines is impossible without letting another group or two through.

Played 7/ 15/13. What a gorgeous course. The practice range was a little scruffy but the rest of the course is in great shape. Super tees, good fairways, fair roughs and good smooth greens. Plus it is built on rolling hills with some fantastic views. The elevated tees are fantastic. The par 3's are quite diverse. Some very interesting par 4's, with doglegs both directions. The par 5's were quite playable and offered chances for birdies. We were quite disappointed when a thunderstorm drove us off the course on the 16th hole. My wife loved it because, for a change, the ladies tees were well forward of the men's, sometimes up to 100 yards ahead. Good service getting our bags loaded onto the carts and into the trunk after golf.

Played 9/12/13 and there has been lots of rain here so the course was pretty soaked. It's a fun layout for a low price. Not a resort course by any means but a fun course at a reasonable price. The greens were a little tough but mostly slow. Fairways were good, roughs not impossilbe. The sand traps were quite hard from being flooded so much, understandibly so. There is a good diversity of different kinds of holes. After relatively short easy par 3's on the front, I was surprised at how much longer they were on the back nine. The par 5's offer good risk reward. A few holes should be explored by first time players before teeing off. There is one on each nine that holds quite a surprise. The greens are relatively small and require accurate shots.

Played Deltona Golf Club on May 30,2013. It is recovering rapidly from a complete aerification. The front is further along than the back nine. The greens were slow but putted truly in spite of the recent punching. This is a fun course with many elevation changes. Very challenging, with seemingly many holes playing uphill to the greens. Well trapped, however there were very few rakes around, hence footprints in many traps. One thing unusual for Florida, there we NO water hazards. I found all the holes quite different. And, the price was right, however this made the course crowded. A good value.

This is a spectacular layout for Florida. The elevations are most dramatic. The course is further highlighted by the differences in each hole. All par 3's are quite different in both yardage and elevation changes. The layout is a bit odd because on the back there are seven par 4's, one par 3 and one par 5. We played on a Monday after having lunch in the dramatic clubhouse overlooking central Florida. It waa so clear we could see downtown Orlando in the distance and golf was only $25 each. Lunch was delicious. The course itself was in good shape, both fairways and greens. However, the bunkers were in terrible shape, not only from recent heavy rains, which is undertandable, but it seemed a lack a rakes in many and it worse, hardly anyone was raking them afterwards. They are very deep. The many doglegs make for a high risk/reward on some of the par 4 holes. The 5 sets of tees makes this course playable for almost all golfers. It's just a fun and visually pleasing course to play.

This course was terribly disappointing about a month ago when I played. Fairways looked like the rough, the rough was short like the fairway should be, but worst of all were the greens. While just top-dressed it didn't cover up the fact that several greens were at least half dead. Just mud covered with green sand. Made putting the already difficult, undulating greens impossible. Not fun. It's a good layout, too bad they can't keep it in good shape.

Love this course. Played 5/12, mothers day and mother's played free. The course was in great shape as always. Staff friendly and helpful, always help with clubs. Love the layout, challenging from any set of tees. One of my favorite courses. Pace of play was good. So many different holes which keeps it interesting. Only problem were wet sand traps.
