Played this course on Sat 10/30 with a 2 pm tee time. Nice little course in Yucca Valley played mostly by locals. Even though they had a skins game going off, we still played 18 in 3:15. Shorter course, but has some interesting features. Wind can make it play much longer, as it was blowing about 20 mph on Sat afternoon. Nice large bent grass greens rolled semi-quick. Lots of ballmarks, but they didn't really affect putts. They were a bit spongy for an afternoon. Fairways were grown in fair - rye is still trying to come in though the bermuda still hasn't gone completely dormant. Still, I didn't have to many bad lies. I enjoyed this course - setup as a 12 hole course (to play 18, you play the 1st 6 holes twice). Out of the way for sure. Also, good food at the restaurant.

Played Sat (10/24) afternoon with 1:30 tee time. Course was crowded, but we finished in 4 hours waiting on every shot. I hadn't played here since my college days when the course was private and pristine. The fairways are bermuda and going into dormancy, which is fine if left dry and firm. However, parts of fairways were soaked and not the best surface to hit off of. The greens were very slow and shaggy. Also, since there were so many unrepaired ball marks, they were bumpy and just not a very good surface to putt on. Overall, i still enjoyed the course layout (tough par 3's), but the condition is just poor in my opinion, especially the greens.

Played Sat 5/9 at noon. Course only taking tee times till noon. Green fee increased to $95. Course in pretty good shape, some dry spots out in fairways. Rough was mowed down, but still thick; tough to hit a long iron out of. Greens rolled medium; probably 9 or 10 on stimp. However, they were very soft, and best i can describe as spongy. You could see your ball bounce around a bit probably due to footprints near hole. While I usually think this course is one of the better in the IE, it certainly wasn't worth $95 IMO.

Played here on 5/31 - 2pm tee time. Was the first tee time behind a small tournament - POP was 4:45 min. Course is in nice shape tee to green. Greens were rolling fairly quick, but it was a bit hard to make putts as they are still a bit bumpy and the ball bounced as it rolled (could see the punch pattern still). Still, for $39 in the afternoon, I felt it was not a bad price.

Played here on 4/5 in the afternoon. Weather was beautiful - about 80 with just a breeze. Courses in the Palm Springs area are in the best shape of the year and Heritage Palms is no exception. Tee's, fairways, and rough are all nice and the greens were smooth (and quick - rolling at 11 according to the sign at the pro shop). HP is an over 55 community but allows outside play and the course winds it's way through the housing community. It's not overly difficult, but it has front tees under 5000 yards, which makes it good for those who don't hit it far. Back tees are just under 6700 yards. If you find a deal on GN, this is a good value. My wife and I teed off at 1 pm and were finished just before 4 pm - never ran into anyone in front of us (I wish all my golf had this POP).

Played here on 3/26 in the afternoon. This was the first time playing this course, and I really enjoyed the layout of the course, particularly the back 9. POP was fine - I finished in about 3.5 hours. The course is in good condition from tee to green. The greens rolled smoothly (albiet just a tad slow for me). The practice facility is superb, large grass driving range, couple of practice greens with bunker and a couple of practice greens that support short pitch shots of up to 20-30 yards. Although Pahrump is kinda off the beaten path, I feel this course was worth the extra driving time. I will be back.

Played here Sun (3/23) about 8:30 am. Course is in nice shape from tee to green. Practice facilities are terrific. Greens rolled smoothly but were just a bit slow for my preference (prob about 8). I enjoy the layout, good mix of short and long holes gets you to use all clubs in bag. Also good yardage from front tees for my wife (under 5000 yards). If you are in the area, this is a good choice and a good value.

Played here on Tue 3/18 in the SCGA qualifier. Course was in terrific condition from tee to green. Greens rolled quick and smooth - kudo's to grounds crew who really are doing terrific job to keep course in excellent condition.

Played this course on Sunday (1/12) at 9 am. We played in just under 3.5 hours (maybe everyone was watching football??). Course is in winter condition - overseeded fairways, tees and greens and bermuda rough is dormant. Greens were in nice condition and the ball rolled true. I like the design of this course (long/short holes) offering a good challenge but not immensely difficult. Additionally, the front tees are under 5000 yards, which is important for my wife who does not hit the ball far. If you get a chance, this is especially the time to play these courses in the desert.

Played on Jan 1st. Weather in PS was a perfect 78 with no wind. POP was right at 4 hours and even though the course was crowded, everyone kept moving. The course is in very nice shape (tees, fairways, rough and greens). I was in only 1 bunker and there was plenty of fluffy sand. Greens were smooth and were rolling quick - especially on downhill putts. Paid $65 for morning tee time which is a good deal especially as the next few months is the high season and prices are generally higher.

Played here Sat afternoon (12/28). Weather was picture perfect; no wind. Course is in really nice shape. Tees, fairways, greens all very nice. Greens are rolling smooth and quick. We had a 3some and generally had to wait a bit on every shot, but still got around in just over 4 hours. If there is one complaint - it's the coot's on hole 18: they made a real mess on the green, so much so you couldn't even putt.

My wife and I played yesterday (12/25) on a beautiful Palm Springs day. Teed off about 10 am and the course was not crowded so POP was not an issue and we finished in just under 3 hours. Course is in good condition - fairways are nice, rough is cut low so it looks almost like fairway. Greens were fairly slow and I think they probably didn't mow on the holiday. Other than that the only complaint was the Coot's on hole 12 and 17 made a real mess on the greens.
