Played 10-29 a little less than two weeks after aeration of the greens which were slow and bumpy. The course as a whole was wet and played slow 5+ hours. The driving range was closed as they are doing a major upgrade to the cart barn and range itself. Overall its better than some courses that i have played.

Played is a shotgun on 3-21. Course was in decent shape. The greens look a little shaggy but they roll well. The fairways are good in spots. Looks like the were punched in the burnt out area's. Pace of play was 4:40. Customer service is another matter. When we finished our group was scolded by the starter for playing a 6 hour round. When we told the guy that we went out (at) 9:OO and finish (at) 1:40 which is 4 Hours and 40 min. The response we got was whatever, you should have played faster. Anyway this put a bad ending to what was a good day. Needless to say i wont be going back, the customer service was a JOKE. Nice job San Juan Hills.

Played 6/30/08 and the course was in great shape from tee to green.
Holes seem a little tight from the tees but the fairways open up quite a bit. The greens were perfect. The staff went out of there way to make sure everything was ok and it was.

The course is in good shape. Having not played here in four years you really notice all the missing trees which made it play a little easier than in the past. The greens are in good shape and the bunkers are great with the right amount of sand in them. Great course will be back again.

Played Thanksgiving weekend and the course is in great shape. The greens are a little firmer than normal but are rolling true. The staff from the pro shop to the bar are great.

Played 10/30/05 two days after the PGA Qualifying tournament. The course is in great shape with the greens rolling so true it's scary. The rough is a little thicker than normal but still very playable. Great bunkers

Greens are coming back from being punched just a little bit bumpy and slow but should be back to normal in a week. Still the best deal in town.

This is simply the best course in Southern California. The greens roll true and with the slopes are very challenging. The rough is long enough to effect shots but not long enough to where you cant find your ball. The sand traps are great. From the starter to the people in the grill room fantastic.

Played in a two day tournament 5/14 & 15 and from the week before the greens have finally come all the way back. Thou sometimes they are just a little bumby but thats normal for this course. The rough is up and will cause problems mainly finding a ball. The bunkers which most of the time are the worst around due to being very inconsistant were very good for a change. The best deal and course around.

Whoever is doing the hole placements most likely is not a golfer. The hole placements that we had on 5/8/05 were stupid. These greens since the makeover have one or two ridges going thru every green with plenty of space to put pin placements in between and to put the pins on the side of a slope with no chance of making the putt is ridiculous. The course otherwise is very good. The sand traps are some of the best of any course around.

The greens have come back and the rough is up which makes this course tough. Not a long course but if you cant keep the ball in the fairways the rough and trees will make this place seem like a 7200 yard course. The best value around.

Well where should i start, Most if not all the tee boxes have some kind of slant to them. The fairways and rough are ok. The bunkers are the best thing about this course with the sand being a little rocky but typical for courses in this area. The greens were the hardest hit by the rains. Every green seems to have three different types of grass and very inconsistent in the speed from one green to the next. Not a bad layout but needs work to get it back to where this course once was. Not the greatest course but i have played worse.
